Tampa clinches the East

With their win tonight they have 106 points, Boston tied and can only tie TB in points and TB has the tie break

CONGRATS TO THE LIGHTNING!

What are you talking about? How is Tampa Bay a team of sucks? They have been a dominant team all year and deserve top spot in the East because this season they have been the top team in the East.

Anyway, great job Tampa!

Congrats Bolts - you deserve it, for sure.

AND

Yay Caps!!

I think Sens fan and Leafs fans will unite for a moment in saying thank you, thank you, thank you for keeping the Bruins to one point!

Congradulations to the Bolts. They deserved it the most. I wish them best of luck in the playoffs. I think the Bolts fans should be out doing some of this :gman: :gman:

Congrats to the ligting on behalf of the leafs.

No one would've or could've predicted the lightining to be first in the conference but we're happy for them. I hope they make it out of the first round.

Wow I'm sure nobody would have thought that a SE division team would clinch the east, after all last year and the year before, the 3rd spot went to the SE division winner, TB has certainly showed us that they are for real and congrats to them.

It seemed like a horrible April Fool's joke.

If you would have said 3 years ago that on April 1, 2004 the Tampa Bay Lightning would clinch the #1 seed in the Eastern Conference with 106 points... and Martin St. Louis would hit 93 points in the game, extending his lead on the Art Ross trophy to 7 over Joe Sakic along with strengthening ... I would have seriously recommended seeking mental help.

The Lightning?

Martin who? Isn't that the little 4th liner for the Flames?

:lol
