Brian Little value

Always liked this guy, would be great 2nd line center. Just trying to get thoughts and ideas on this guy. What would it cost in a trade?

Too much to acquire him. He's a big part of Atlanta's future.

He's on the wing, not C in the NHL. Scored 31 for ATL last year, doubt it would be possible to pry him away for anything reasonable.

Anyone who wouldn't take Little above Moller is crazy. We won't land Little anyways so doesn't matter but doubt ATL would even listen to Moller+1st

I don't see any use for Little on the Kings but in the same token, Atlanta would be crazy to let him go. . .

I also think Moller is WAY over rated on this board.

I think Little could be had

His name is too small to be an effective top 6 forward.

Lombardi wants players with bigger names to add size to our lineup.

Brian is of very Little value...no, I mean, Brian Little's value is very underrated. Or is that, underrating Brian's Value is of Little consequence? No, no...what I mean to say is...Brian Little's value is of no consequence to us.

Little played wing all last season and he isn't available without massive overpayment.

"Always"... he's 21, and had one full NHL season... he was 2nd on the Thrashers in goals with 31, and he was the 12th pick overall just 3 years ago... I don't think Atlanta would be trading him, but if they did, you might want to consider learning how to spell his name. Would probably make him feel better about coming here.

Always is referring to I would of liked to see him come here, everybody has players they like and hope we draft. For the rest of your post, bugger off. Spelled Bryan wrong, guess there is always one arse in the crowd.

And your reasoning is........rebuilding teams really ought to trade their 21 year old forwards who just scored 31 goals? Don Waddell hasn't proven to be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I don't see him trading Little any time soon, especially for an impending free agent like Frolov as the primary return.

I mean, anybody can be traded. I cant help but think that Kovy would love to play with Fro and I would like to see Little coming this way, Its nice to think about or dream in some cases about line combo's and such, thats all. Im sure 29 teams would love to get Doughty, just saying I like Little, wanted to see what others thought of him.

I have an idea, why don't you just make that trade in NHL09 and call it a day?

I, like I'm sure more than a few, thought we might pick up Little in the 2006 draft, and then we heard the collective "WHO .... who the F is Jonathan Bernier" .... time will tell I suppose. As Bryan Little was the BPA and went with the next pick to Atlanta. But we picked who we got, and I have high hopes for Bernier still.

But you don't see anybody saying "I think Doughty could be had." Just doesn't make a lot of sense for Atlanta to trade Little, who they have for 5 years more minimum, for only one guarenteed year of Frolov.
