Precisely, he is the kid they hold most highly of probably anyone in the organization not named Lundqvist, he is going to be the anchor for their D for years, even if he isn't the top offensive D in the NHL.

Rumor Roundup

http://www.thehockeynews.com/article...y-captain.html

"Former Montreal Canadiens winger Alex Tanguay remains the most talented player still available in this summerís unrestricted free agent market, but he may not hold that distinction much longer.

The Minneapolis Star-Tribune quoted Ritch Winter, Tanguayís new agent, as saying the Wild is very much on their radar, having had discussions with Wild GM Chuck Fletcher.
.

Winter claimed he was talking to other teams about Tanguay, but at this point it seems to be between the Lightning and Wild. Itís possible a decision could come this week."

Rich Winter is not his agent.

Winter owns the agency which now represents Tanguay. The agent (Steve Kotlowicz) who replaced Bob Sauve works for Winter's agency. Winter is Tanguay's agent.

Its truly a shame we don't have Dan Boyle anymore. The rants were epic. The town hall meeting was epic.

"SIT DOWN!"
"TRADE KOCI, I DONT WANT HER AT GAMES."
"Why is Cristina at the airport? Wait, they're talking about Boyle? THANK GOD WE TRADED BOYLE!"

I wish I would have seen Lawton's reaction when you thanked him for moving Dan Boyle.

He looked stunned - I swear to god, for a second it was like he thought I was going to pull a knife out and shank him. Then I said something about Ty being awesome in a year or two and he realized I was serious.
