Hodgson Injured at Junior Camp

It is being reported that Cody Hodgson has suffered an "upper body" at the Canadian Junior camp and will not be able to participate in any further training.

At this moment there is no definitive word on the seriousness of the injury.

Hopefully more on the late news sports segment.

The Canadian Press is confirming the injury:
Quote:
Sudbury Wolves forward Eric O'Dell was watching Ice Age 3 in an Ottawa theatre Wednesday night when his cellphone vibrated. He took the call and was hastily summoned to Saskatoon to take the place of Hodgson at camp.

Canada's leading scorer in Ottawa did not skate in Wednesday evening's opening practice. He was said to be day-to-day with an undisclosed upper body injury. The first-round pick of the Vancouver Canucks wasn't expected to get on the ice at camp.

"It seems like he's tweaked it a little bit," Canadian head coach Willie Desjardins said. "We'll see later on, but I don't think he'll go."

Meh, as long as he's good to go for the season who cares? It's not like he needs to prove himself at the camp, if he doesn't make the Canucks he'll play for Canada regardless.

Perhaps he did mean "que" as in - Que pasa, how's your pasa?

Hopefully not serious. I just wish there were more details:

Was this:

An upper upper body injury?

A mid upper body injury?

A lower upper body injury?

And on what side of the body?

Exactly.
Thats what I meant.
Que the rebuild.
Because a rebuild has more then one thing to deal with.
First the players.
Then the management and so on.

From what i know, que is not a verb... so you can not "Que the rebuild." Parabola is right, "Cue" is the correct verb. Queue or Que is a noun. It can be used in a sentence such as "I've been waiting in the queue all day to speak with a representative."

probably nothing serious at all. If it was during the regular season or playoffs he'd probably suit up.

This is a orientation camp for a player who has basically already locked himself a spot if he doesn't make the NHL next season. He doesn't need to risk further aggravating this "soreness" because he has nothing to prove to the coaching staff.
