"To Catch a Predator" is on MSNBC right now.

Chris Hansen is a super hero. "Why don't you have a seat right over there."

Genius.

That was before the whole thing became a big headache. I remember having a very nice avatar of Jessica Alba a few years ago. I do not remember it being a big deal back then.

Pretty funny. When I went to Spain I had the same problem. Ate Pizza Hut and McDonalds. To me a meal has to consist of more than cheap bread with a piece of meat in the middle of it and a warm coke. Only thing I would try is eating at restaurants, the quicker food places I found were not very good.

The food in London is disappointing all around unless you go to restaurants that serve foreign cuisine. The french, thai and italian places we went to there were pretty good.

Aside from food in London being bad in general, they do lay claim to the most disgusting breakfast items on earth. Black beans, pudding and clotted cream? Gross.

What really bugs me is they have no concept of early morning anything. Coffee shops don't often open until 7AM or later and most shopping places close at 5 or 6. It's a great city to visit, but I'll take Sydney any day over London.

I had no problem with British food. I love fish and that's pretty much what I ate while I was there. To me, the worst food I had internationally was in Amsterdam.

I went to Barcelona. I think it's just a huge cultural difference because I found their fast food just totally gross with no nutritonal value but the restaurants were good-provided you have 3 hours to eat dinner while smoking a pack of cigarettes. My main memory of Spain was being given a dirty look when I asked the waitress at Pizza Hut for ice in my coke. She looked at me like I was a serial killer that was just let out of jail. That and the fact that it's cool to roll up to a club on your Vespa.

What did you eat in Amsterdam? I LOVED the food I had there. Everything was very fresh, had lots of vegetables and such. Also found some great chinese restaurants.

As for Tik and your ice in the coke story, I had the same experience in Amsterdam but it was about using a tray at the food court in the Van Gogh museum. I just grabbed a slice of pizza and tried to buy it, and like 3 different employees came running up bombarding me with questions "Where I s your tray? Why don't you have a tray?" The first one ran off to go get one while another showed up while she was gone. They all came back together staring me down like I rubbed my butt on 'Starry Night'

Random customs are ****in wierd... I understand having them, but the extreme to which people get upset over foreigners not knowing about some oddball little rule of ettiquete that exists nowhere else in the world is very strange. But they also make for good memories and stories when you travel. Its nice change of pace, because when I get those looks here in L.A., I generally deserve it.

.

Most of the food was Indonesian food which I'm not a fan of, and you think the use of mayo was bad in London, it was on everything in Amsterdam. They also used alot of peanut butter sauces on the chicken and stuff like that I did not like. I remember walking into a place to eat and there was a cat lying on the bar next to the dumb waiter where the food was brought up and a guy had his dog with him at the booth. The dog was drinking out of a bowl on the table. Best food I had in Amsterdam was at an Irish bar.
