Yeah, because supporting your team and favourite Leaf has so much to do with how old they are. Good choice, at least the person buying this jersey knows he'll be there for quite some time.

I got my leafs alternate with schenn on it at christmas. Its sweeeeet.

I also have a white toskala jersey and a blue sundin jersey. All real jerseys, with pro sew.

If you do get a schenn jersey, get the alternate. Its a beauty. All my buddys love it.

Yea, I was thinking to get it customized with an A, becuase in the near future he will be an alternate, but hopefully he isn't captain so soon. I think he will become captain 5 years later, and by then, I'll have enough money buy another one.

Some people can't tell these are fake? hahahahaha

The lettering, numbering, and logo are enough to drive me nuts. Just look at the N's, LOOK AT THEM!!!!

How it should look. Just look at the text inside the Maple Leaf and how different the 2 looks.

I'm planning to get the alternate with schenn because its the best jersey they have...I love the old crest and the stripes at the bottom...I wonder if I should jump the gun and put an "A" or "C"

I'm always suspicious when buying stuff from the net (who isn't really?). Unless it's from an official website I stay clear of it. If you want an official jersey that's cheap, go to Sport Mart. I've bought 2 Leaf jerseys from their and both were very reasonable in terms of price. About $50 IIRC. No they aren't RBK jerseys they're CCM but who gives a crap right? I sure don't. One thing I do know is, if a major sports league drops the old company from their jerseys and they use a new company, the price from the old one's drop immensely. And that's exactly what I did. Now all I have to do Is find the alternate jersey somewhere for cheap...by far the best Leafs jersey.

My buddy of mine works at a sports shop that does sewing. He told me that when the time comes that he receives either his C or is A, he can find the same lettering and sew it on. And it shouldn't cost much either.

Ask the store about something like that. And wait till he is named captain.

Indeed. He has the most annoying tendency to say 'you' when he really means 'I'.
