The Blue Jackets prospect list remains little changed from the spring.

Good stuff, always like to see Jackets articles published by HF.

9. Calvert/Regner(tie)
10. Regner/Sigalet
11. Dorsett/Lynch
12. Lalande/Weber
13. Ruth/Calvert
14. Sigalet/Lacosta
15. Hansen/Picard
16. Sestito/TBD
17. Savard/TBD

I really liked this part:

Quote:
3. (NR) John Moore, D
Grade 7.5C Projection: Top-three defenseman
Age: 18 Height/weight: 6'2, 189
Drafted 21st overall, 2009

Moore could be the steal of the first round in the 2009 Entry Draft. After trading down in the draft, Columbus general manager Scott Howson traded back up to the 21st spot to select the smooth-skating defenseman. He posted 39 points in 57 games last year for the USHL Chicago Steel.

Moore has the ability to quarterback a power play and has great offensive instincts. He knows when to jump into the rush, but also plays a sound defensive game. He doesn’t often create trouble for himself.

It was thought that Moore would take the NCAA route to continue his career, but he has changed plans and will play for the Kitchener Rangers of the OHL next season.

I like it but I think Dorsett has more potential than what is ranked, 5.0A.

Suprised Holden did not crack the top 20.

Late bloomer offensively in WHL, took until his overage season to explode.
Took some time to adjust to AHL but his final 30 games 4G 19Pts

He could put up 40+ points next year in AHL.

Picard at 18?!? I tend to think he's a better prospect than that! If he's still the #18 prospect at this point in his career, it may be time for the CBJ to consider this one a bust.

Not a bust, not yet. He gets one more season based on his ultra-strong finish last year in the 'Cuse. If he can continue that momentum and be the player he can be, everyone wins. Some guys it just takes longer for the light to go on. It's **** or get off the pot time for Alex.
