Big connections is an understatement. Ron Toigo owns the Giants.

Seems more than an invitation, look like he's signed

http://hfboards.com/showthread.php?t=673690

Also, Canucks had invite G Bobby Nadeau, I have no links but I heard an interview of Jonathan Roy in Quebec City (son of Patrick) and said that Bobby will attend the Canucks camp

According to Ward himself (through Farhan Devji), he's unsigned.

As for Nadeau, I found this link:
http://www.toutsurlehockey.com/rumeu...ancouver-.html

It says Nadeau received an invitation from Vancouver but that Atlanta was also interested.

Jan Hrdina is a UFA... 33 year old center, maybe a potential replacement for Madden? Peca, Malhotra, Moore, Betts are also UFA....but Hrdina played a short time for the Devils.

Jiri Bicek??? haha

Jan Hrdina is pretty much done, big injury, only played 3 games in SEL last season. As for Bicek...not NHL caliber anymore (has he ever been)

I added Lemieux, although I'm not sure if he still is under contract with Grand Rapids.

We got a 3rd too, which has done more for us than Eminger did. And at least it turned into Carle.

I wouldnt mind Eminger if it means Jones is gone.

A little suprised Dan Spence hasn't been invited to any camps. The guy was better than Perugini was the year before, and more accomplished of a junior goaltender and he got signed by Edmonton. Spence should be playing pro somewhere unless he's chosen to get an education over a tryout.

Oh geeze, he was TERRIBLE when he played with Milwaukee in the AHL 2 years ago.

10 minutes of minor penalties in 1 game. ugh.

He was slow even in his prime, playing with the Islanders and Canucks.
Now his best skill is water-skiiing behind opposing forwards down the ice.
No way he makes the Canucks, barring a catastrophic accident involving Henrik Sedin, Kesler, Hodgson, Johnson AND Wellwood....

"Carter Bancks will head to San Jose's camp, Carter Ashton heads to Tampa Bay, Kyle Beach to Chicago, Austin Fyten was invited to Detroit's camp, Eric Mestery to Washington, while Brennan Yadlowski will attend Philadelphia's camp."

I believe Bancks and Yadlowski are FAs, along with Fyten. Fyten is already on the summary list at the beginning of this thread.

These players were invited to participate in the Traverse City Tournament but that doesn't mean they'll then be invited to their respective teams' training camps. I can't speak for how the Rangers will do things but I'd be pretty surprised if many, if any, of the guys invited by the Blues to the Traverse City Tourney are then invited to training camp.
