Rollerblading Question

Is it normal to wear out the rear wheel much faster than the other three wheels on a set of inline skates? I am skating about every day in order to strengthen the legs during the summer and I just want to know if I am doing something wrong? Am I making turns incorrectly or pivoting weird?

Thanks for the help.

That happens to me and everyone I know as well. We're all on the Hi-Lo set up (72s and 80s) and the rear wheel wears down much faster than other 3 wheels.

Next time you buy replacement wheels, buy a hard durometer (84A+) rear wheel.

it also depends on where you are skating.. if you are skating on cement or rougher surfaces than yeah do what triguy said, but if you are skating on softer surfaces like the rinks pavement than you could go with a softer wheel and they should perform better.
