Well, I played against him a few times and he's a Serb. He considers himself Canadian too, but he's without a doubt Serbian.

Is Croation another word for someone with french heritage? Or is it on his mother's side? Marcou is a very french name.

Not true, Nylander is playing for Swiss team called ZSC.

Not anymore, he had a contract until christmas, now played the Spengler Cup with Kloten but is without a contract now so this could be true.
