Might Nabby head to the KHL? (I just can't see Tabitha allowing it.)

I'd rather he just sign for less, stay in the org and become our goalie coach down the road.

The real question is, if Nabby is a question mark of any kind (health I think is the bigger issue) what is DW's plan?

I just cannot imagnie him hedging his bets on Greiss being a starter next season, or waiting till the last minute to find a new starter UFA (not his style). Stalock and Sexsmith probably need a few years in the A as well.

He likes Halak, that leads me to believe he very well may be considering trading for him. I certainly have no problem with him backing up Nabby and fighting for the starting spot. Greiss can wait one more season and backup Halak.

Bad taste? Have you ever tasted blood? Tastes like iron. Wouldn't it be cool if they instead of marketing milk as a good calcium source, they'd market blood as a good iron source and then sell it right next to milk in the dairy department.

If there is a question about signing Nabokov in 2010 it will say a lot about the results of the 09/10 season and DW chances at remaining GM.

I hope he goes this season - it'll solve out cap space problems. Sure, we'll have to pick up Halak or another up and comming starter to fill the void. The sooner we get on with the post Nabby Sharks the sooner we'll have a chance to get deaper into the playoffs.

Nabokov is too small, there is way too much air and space for those small, black pucks to go in. He is a small goalie. There is space and room for those small, black pucks. We need a bigger goalie.

Probably an old wives tale but I heard that is the reason they started making flavored milk like chocolate or strawberry. Sometimes once they started using milking machines the cows udders would bleed. And even one drop of blood will make a whole vat of milk pink... Can't sell pink milk unless it tastes like strawberries.

And back on topic I will not be surprised if Nabby heads to Russia. Hell I'd rather see him in the KHL then starting for Dallas... Yuck!

He gets up there in age and now cannot backflip anymore and finds out that he has more ability to stop the puck while staying still.

If we don't get deap into the playoffs i think next summer you'll see some more tweeking and one or two core players move out in exchange for new core players, prospects or picks. Probally be some additional player out/ins at the bottom end of the roster.

I do think Patty will re-sign for 4-5M a season for 3-4 years.

The cap will go down and you'll see more by out's/waivers/player release from contracts, etc.

That's all I can see in the crystal ball so far - more once the seasons gets started.

According to reports, Luongo and the Nucks are close to a deal. I wouldn't count on Luongo being there.
