I thought MTL fans liked Kostopolous? From what i read he signed 3 years for 2.75. That is less than 1 million a year? Was he not liked by management or something?

Gainey said he wanted to change most of the roster,he didn't lie.I liked Tom,played hard every night and every shift, but I'm happy we signed Moen and think he will do a better job, especially in the fighting department

He missed so many chances that it's not even funny. He also can't win a fight. He really has a huge heart, and he's a good team player, but that's about it. Gregory Stewart will be able to bring at least the same thing to the team within a very short period of time so Kostopoulos was expendable...

No one wants to give a shot at this guy. Wonder if its because of his ACL injury, or because hes 39. Or probably a combination of the two.

From Eric Engels: ''If he wanted less he’d still be playing in the NHL, and likely Montreal''

It's not about age or his injury, it's about the money he's looking for...and I'm not surprised if he signs in the KHL, it'll probably be some big $.

Going to miss Tom K, not as much as Saku but the dude came to play for every game and was not afraid to drop gloves with anyone even if he knew he had no chance.

Minor news, but Duncan Milroy returns to North America and signs with the Minnesota Wild.

Good AHL player, good luck to him. Could get a cup of coffee with Minny.
