Total list of Masterson nominees

Anyone knows a site that lists each team's nominee for it, so far?

I keep hearing bits and pieces of people nominated - Daigle, Ulanov, Thomas, you know how it is. Was hoping to get a complete list of the nominees. Can anyone help me out?

For good measure, I'll throw in the bananaman.

Yeah, I'm going to add Souray and Pronger, since they seem like locks (Comeback years after career-threatening wrist injuries - makes sense)

Alright, we're over a third of the way there!

Well now that I ripped off someone else's Masterson's list, it looks like things are nearly complete

Just missing Anaheim, Colorado, NYR and Washington.

Anaheim: who knows? Gerber, maybe?

Colorado: Steve Moore's got a lock on it next year (if there's a season/if he returns), but I dunno who'll get it this time. Forsberg? He doesn't really seem too dedicated to hockey....

NYR: Go with the sentimental pick with Messier?

Washington: Kolzig's gotta be dedicated to be stuck on such a horrendous team.

LUC For Masterton

Great choice IMO. After last year, he's definitely a great choice for comeback player of the year. Scott Barney would've been the nominee had he not gotten injured and played more with the club.

Yes, I'm thoroughly ashamed, but at least no one realized I had spelled it wrong for...quite a while, really.

Or were kind enough to not point it out. ;D

vancouver's is trevor linden

so who do you guys think should win?

i think alex daigle doesn't deserve it - his own goddamn fault for being too lazy, he's only now FULFILLING his potential and evne so not fully.....his problem wasn't injuries

sheldon souray on the other hand.........read about the injury he suffered - it's HORRIFIC absolutely horrific and if he wasn't injured again later this year he would've been an almost sure norris winner.

landon wilson got hit in the eye and people thought he wasn't gonna play hockey again - he's back. that's good.

chris pronger also battled hard.

i think the award should go to souray or wilson.

if steve moore comes back next year it'll be his award for sure after next season (if there is a next season)

Souray, Daigle, Berard and Pronger seem like obvious candidates to me.

I suspect that Pronger will win it. Just a hunch...nothing more than that.

I think it's time to award it to Bryan Berard. He has been back for three seasons now. Obviously Saku's situation in 2002 superseeded Bryan's lock on it that year and it was certainly a just decision to award Saku then. Stevie Y. is just the ultimate in class, talent and hard work so it was great to give it to him last year for making it back. But now that Berard has managed to stick in the league and produce with something of a disability I think it's time to reward him. Daigle, to me, is a guy who flushed his potential down the toilet to do other things away from the game and then retrieved it with some dedication yes, but he didn't have to persevere like the guys who actually had involutary problems to overcome in order to return to the game. Souray played great this year as did Pronger but there have been several guys return and play with well after severe wrist problems (Jason Allison is one) and I certainly would not object to either winning but what Berard is doing out there continues to impress and inspire me.
