Flames playoff tickets sold out

The Flames have sold out all playoff tickets in less than ten minutes after going sale to the general public. There were slim pickings after season ticket holders, game pack holders, and "Flames insiders" got first dibs. Not sure if conditional second round tickets are included among those tickets sold out. Quite the hot ticket, as you can imagine.

PUBLIC ONSALE: APR 2/04 8:00AM AT SADDLEDOME BOX OFFICE
TICKETMASTER OUTLETS, CHARGE-BY-PHONE AND INTERNET APR 2/04 10:00AM

**** TICKET LIMIT 2 PER PERSON ****
RANDOM LINE UP IN EFFECT

SOLD OUT

While it is nice that the Flames have made the playoffs, and believe me I am very happy for the team and the fans...

This is a FLames board related topic.

I'm happy for them, must be crazy to be in that town, and Vancouver has had its share of Vancouver board threads here, so letting this pass isnt big.

Fine, a mod can move it. Just thought I'd let everyone else in the NHL know how hungry the fans here have been.

Did the city of Calgary run out of toilet paper or something?

Does every post need to be policed? I never wander into any board besides this one yet I'm reading it because I am Canadian and very happy for the Flames. Thanks for posting here instead of on the Flames boards where more then half of us never would have seen it.

I don't get it. do you run a janitorial supply business and are looking to fill a rush order?

Good for the Flames for making the playoffs, and the fans are justified in being stoked for this. I don't see it being a surprise or anything, though. If Tampa Bay sells out its playoff tickets, that'd be newsworthy because people often wonder how much real fan support they have. I don't think it was ever in question that the Flames would sell out their playoff games. If the Flames *didn't* sell out their playoff games, that would be news.

Once again, if you feel a thread doesn't belong here, then report it and a mod will decide if it needs to be moved.

If it's NHL-related, which this thread obviously is, then there's no problem with it being here.

I'm very happy that the Flames have made the playoffs... finally!

Their faithful fans deserve it and I will definitely be cheering for them unless they play the Canucks.

Now, we just need to get Edmonton in so the Canadian teams will have a full six-pack.

Yep. My buddy went down to the 'Dome this morning and told me it was chaos trying to obtain tickets. Calgary is stoked.

Some of us got shutout in our hunt for Playoff Tickets (hint, hint..)

Acutally, i'm saving my money for the Conference Final

I'm really happy for the fans of Calgary. This is long overdue for them. It'll be an exciting time in Canada, that's for sure. I hope the final piece to the puzzle will come with the Oilers making it as well.

Didn't mean to ruffle feathers at all... I am so happy for the Flames fans. My wife's family who live there are going nuts calling me.

And how exactly does this apply to the topic at hand?

I think he means that once we are done with the Canucks, his Vancouver playoff tickets for round two will be of little more use than as toilet paper.

As it is, only home games one and two went on sale this morning. Single game seats for our third game of the series, and any subsequent playoff rounds havent been put up.

Yep, this is great news for the Flames, another hardworking Canadian club in the playoffs.

Wednesday the 14th is out because 50 Cent is performing at the Saddledome. Speaking of 50 Cent and the Flames... Listen

If a team doesn't sell out of playoff tickets, they don't deserve to be in the playoffs IMO.
