He's only 33 so there might still be some time left... do you think he might come back and re-gain his position as the top goalscorer in the world?
he may be 33 but his knees are 66... unfortunately his injuries do not allow him for such a come back.. he is feeling discomfort when he walks, was clearly not the same skating wise last year... i go back to the point, radek bonk caught up to him from the ranger goal line when bure was all alone on a break away..... oh and yes he did score
Hes never coming back (or atleast should never). His knees are shot, he could barely walk and I think that no matter how much he loved the game and the game loved him it would be insane to risk his health further by coming back. I just feel its a shame that he didnt have a proper retirement ceremony to pay tribute, he has just seemed to dissapear. I think he would be a great coach, teaching young kids how to score and be IMAGINATIVE, something that seesm to be dissapearing.
I am hoping he comes back and signs with the Leafs. Then the Leafs trade to get Federov. That would be one of my favorite trio's in the hockey to reunite. Probably the fastest line in hockey history. They were amazing for the red army.
Mogiliny - Federov - Bure
I might be wrong, but I think Mogiliny can't stand Bure.
