Potential 20 goal scorers?

List the potential 20 goals or more playersw for the upcoming season.
List the player, goals total and then why you think this player will score 20 or more, no duplicates. I'll start.

1. Latendresse, 25 goals. Lats will show why we stuck with him and hit his stride this season, will get some PP time and use his size better also he should benefit from some second line minutes.

2. Cammalleri, 34 goals. If he doesn't get 20 (not major injuries of course) while playing on the #1 line and #1 PP unit the Habs will have a very very very long a painful season.

Plekanec will score between 20-25, becasue it's pretty much do or die for him
AKost will score around 25 because he's that good.
Gionta will score around that as he is consistently scoring that much, and with Gomez, it looks good.
Cammy will score over 30. Because.
Lats will get in the 20s because he has the tools.
Other potentials (with a smaller chance of reaching)
Lapierre. I think eventually he can get just 20 or under 25. But this could be a pipe dream.
SKost. Could very well happen, but either he scores big, or he doesn't score. To me it seems like a tossup.
D'Agostini/Pacioretty. If these guys play the right minutes in the right places, and get enough Hab-time, 20 would not be very hard.
Markov: He scored 13 goals last year with the only other offensive defenseman being Hamrlik and maybe Schneider. With Spacek who will hopefully be feeding him, this is almost possible.

Most of these are pipe dreams.

#4 Andrei Kostitsyn. 30 goals Andrei Kostitsyn has all the tools to score 40 nevermind 20 he just battles inconsistency

D'Agostini has an outside chance. If he plays many games on the top two line, he'll score some goals.

That's pretty much our top 6. I guess now we should be asking who in the bottom 6 can get to 20?

MUST get 20+ (expected):

Cammleri
Gionta
AKost
Pleks

Bonus players:

Lats, Gomez.

If we get all expected output and 1 bonus output, we're in good shape. Provided of course that the first four listed do not all stop at 20.

For some reason I just don't see Tenderness scoring 25 and he won't be in the top 6 forwards. The over 5 listed will probably be the 5 Habs to reach 20+ goals then again Gomez has only done it once so would not surprise me that he does not reach 20 but 50+ assists is something that I am expecting from him.

That's crazy that Lapierre had 1 goal less than 7.35 (cap hit) or 8 million dollar man Gomez. I hope we don't have to sign Maxime for 7 million too when his contract is up. If Gomez doesn't score 25+ this year, then Gainey *****ed up bigtime on that trade.

Gomez is and always has been an excellent set-up man, looking for him to score goals is not the way to go.

Gainey added two pure snipers for him to play with, and we all know how good of a shot AK46 has, and this being just his third full year he's bound to have a career year (I can feel it).

I can easily see us having 3 30 goal men (Camms, Gionta and Andrei K), add Lats and Plek who I expect to score around 25 and we should have a very potent offence this year.

Gomez should have 50+ assists and ~70 points.

The habs have as many as 10 potential 20 goal men, depending on the line certain players play on, but IMO only 4-6 of them will do it. Really depends on which wingers get to play on the PP and on the 1st two lines, so IMO the following players could potentially hit 20:

Injuries notwithstanding, the for sures:

Cammaleri
AKost
Gionta

The Probables:

Pleks

The Maybes:

Skost
Dago
Gomez
Lats
Laps
MaxPac
