god, give it a rest. why give him the time of the day when he's obviously just making everything up? He's been doing this for years and people here still fall for it each time.

This must be the something bigger
To LA: MTL 7th round pick
To WSH: Frolov
To MTL: Ovechkin
That's something bigger right?

I've always respected and followed the rule "Don't shoot the messenger".

But I think that I'll slightly change my rule now: "Shoot Eklund's messenger to death"

Could all of us please ignore Eklund stupid rumors.

who is worse, eklund or the people who go to his site?

Its not funny even if you try to make it so. Its the same bad joke, over and over.

It was funny about 3 years ago.

It's true that BG is trying to land a bigger player to help Gomez at the center depth.

You know, I wouldn't complain normally, but the thread title doesn't say Eklund so I can understand why some people are getting upset. (Even though normally I don't mind Eklund threads, it's the summer and it gives you something to do)

Anyways that having been said, I still find it sort of pathetic how it's always the same people who QQ about Eklund threads, what's even more tiresome then seeing his bs rumors all the time is seeing the tools who claim to hate the guy but always manage to respond saying "enough with the eklund rumors" 90% of the time in a thread titled "Eklund Rumor: blah blah blah".

In this case I know the title is bad, but come on we all know half the people QQing would've cried about it anyways.

From worse to best:
- Going to Eklund website, believe his rumor and post it in this forum
- Going to Eklund website and believe his rumor
- Going to Eklund website, and post it in this forum
- Going to Eklund website
- Not going to Eklund
- Not going to Eklund and don't believe any of his rumors

Starting from now, I try to remember the name of the poster that post Eklund's rumor. In my mind, he's losing credibility.

i didnt think it was meaningless...not after we just had a thread go on for pages about"superclose"

http://hfboards.com/showthread.php?t=670874&page=12

this is his update and i CHOOSE not to put his name in a title and i choose not to link to his site(so you guys dont give him free hits by click on his website)....no free advertising from me!

anyone should know im one of ecklund bigger critics (from day 1)....he got -25% percent creed with me ...

only reason i post was to update "superclose" ...

Because it's funny and everyone likes the entertainment. The best thing to do it exactly what the thread opener did... Post the text of his blog but not the link. This way, he won't get a bunch of hits and we can still have our daily laugh.

This is a good example of what he writes on a regular basis.
Quote:
I talked to a few sources regarding the Frolov to Montreal talk an I am hearing that the "Canadiens are still in on 'something bigger' and will wait to see how that plays out before moving any further on Frolov."
He should amend the words "source" and "hearing" to "crack pipe" and "hallucinating".

Just put the thread on your ignore list, and move on. I tend enjoy these discussions until the people who don't know the definition of "rumour" flock in to ruin them.
