Hi guys. Could one of you tell me which Yotes prospects will be playing in San Antonio next season. As you are probably aware, the Rampage will house a few Ducks prospects too and their icetime and such will probably be determined mostly by the quality of Yotes prospects down there.

Prospects that were there last season (or at least the majority):

MacLean (Has an outside shot of making the NHL.)
Porter (Made the NHL out of camp but got sent down later)
Kolarik
Anhelov (Made the NHL out of camp, but got injured. Has an outside shot of making it again but it's unlikely)
Schlemko

Recently signed prospects that should start there this season:

Ross

And, two of Montoya, Tordjman and LaBarbera will be there. Turris and/or Tikhonov may or may not end up there.

That's it as far as prospects with any NHL potential go. The top 6 looks to be potentially full up with Yotes prospects.

MacLean-Perrault-Spina
Porter-Turris-Kolarik
Hoggan-Meyer-Bernhardt
XXX*-XXX-Lessard

(Possibly Winnik too)

Ahnelov-Schlemko
Sullivan-Heshka
Jones-Ross
May-Zimmerman

Montoya
Tordjman
Gisedt (most likely play in the ECHL)

So far that's the projected Rampage roster. It'll be a tight squeeze. And I think AHL teams only go with 11 forwards as opposed to 12 like the NHL.

Then he better play lights out in pre-season and hope two or three guys get hurt, in which case Coyotes fans will shoot themselves in the head.

Jessica, SA should be stacked this year! Enjoy the team. I know there is a good following there, and you guys deserve some success.

Should be a good season Xavierx. Roussel, I will ask a few people what they think and let you know. I think mostly it just depends on the season (i.e. high school football) or the specialty jersey that the team is wearing (military, spurs or boy scouts). We do play on St. Patty's Day so we might have a themed jersey for that. If you come when they do have the specialty jerseys they usually auction them off after the games.

Perrault is on a one way contract for this season but that doesn't necessarily mean he'll be in Phoenix. It would be very difficult to pencil him in the line up unless something drastic happens.

I thought the same thing yesterday...and when he said he is suppose to be in phx. I don't see any team telling any one player (except for the more established players on the team) that they are going to be with the big club.

Are you sure he's on a one-way this season?

09-10 will be the 2nd year of the two year deal he signed in 2008 as an RFA. His contract was 2-way last season.

Yes. I am positive. I'm sure someone else can back me up here.

I rememeber from when Perrault was signed that the final year of the contract would be one-way.

I don't think he is coming back (I could swear that I read that somewhere). Either is Murray. I liked him too (Murray).

God I hope not. Bourret is a career minor leaguer. His roster spot is better suited for young players who actually will make the NHL roster at some point.

Bourret was not re-signed and did not receive a qualifying offer, making him a UFA. Not sure if he signed anywhere else yet.

Houston and the new Texas team. And if you are hear midweek, it won't matter. We get anywhere from 6-9k on weekend nights but drop down to about 3-4k for mid week games regardless of opponent.

Rampage have signed Brooks Orpik's younger brother.

Good size - adds some depth to the organization. Probably not an NHL upside but organizational depth is always a plus.

He was in the CHL last season, but other than that I can't tell you anything more.

plus depending on what kind of crap they're doing, fridays can sometimes be iffy on a turnout, unless they're playing houston and now probably texas as well. i personally like going in the mid week, better chance of catching a chick fil a cow!

and an orpik and a staal, gosh, do any of the other pens have brothers the yotes org can sign?

ps, just saw the promotions schedule and Oct 24th vs Dallas is gonna be nutty with it being Spurs night. Went to one of those a few seasons ago vs Houston, never again!
