and an orpik and a staal, gosh, do any of the other pens have brothers the yotes org can sign?

ps, just saw the promotions schedule and Oct 24th vs Dallas is gonna be nutty with it being Spurs night. Went to one of those a few seasons ago vs Houston, never again!
Anyone know if they're doing anything for the weekend of the rock and roll marathon (Nov. 15th is the run)? What's the usual attendance for that...like 30,000 people? Could be crowded at the Rampage game (no idea)????

so far just the usual season deals. on Friday the 13th vs Chicago its $1 drink night and the Sunday afternoon game, the 15th, vs the Texas Stars is the Express News Value night. and since its vs TX and Sunday afternoon, it may have a pretty good turnout.

Well, Staal won't be playing in San Antonio this year and hasn't been signed yet. He has to go back to Sudbury if he doesn't make the NHL team of which there is zero chance.

Based on what I saw yesterday, Staal better go back to juniors.

He doesn't look good at all? Do you think there is at least room for improvement? That Staal blood has to count for something

I'm no scout, but there was this one time they were doing a drill where they have to delay around a cone and then pass it into the high slot for a shot. It's a pretty simple drill and he just looked so out of comfort with his body. It took him a while to turn, he just looked so slow doing it. As for improvement, I don't know when they drafted him they said it was going to be a project pick so I'll trust have to trust our scouting staff.

So far they haven't done anything to make me doubt them, but that does have me a little concerned.

I don't see how it would. Everyone playing would be playing for the Rampage regardless of parent team affiliation. Now, it could hurt the development of Coyotes or Ducks players individually, but I couldn't care less about that. I'm a Red Wings fan.

remember how Florida did that to SA, DN. Luckily it's temporary, but I can see issues that normally befall a dual affiliation expecially w/ the turmoil around the Coyotes

Its getting to be decision time for this season regarding Colin Long - San Antonio or the iron lung? My guess is he'd prefer SA.

Frank the Tank released down in SA. He's not under contract - I wonder where he'll get a chance.

I'll guess San Antonio. He has nothing to prove in Kelowna and his development would be hindered in the dub. He is not a highly ranked prospect but I bet 3-4 years from now he will be in the running for a spot. He is a creative play maker and is developing a scorers touch over the last few years. Smart player, hard to hit and stick along the boards, decent skater.

You get Porter to replace him. Rampage better go deep in the playoffs this year or I'd call it a disappointment.

Nick Ross and Matt Watkins to Las Vegas.

If starting in the ECHL doesn't wake up Ross there's not likely much that will.

It's been posted on the rampage website so it is, in fact, accurate info.
