That's got to be last year's picture, right? I don't see Turris, Tikhonov, or Porter, and I swear that's Logan Stephenson in the middle of the back row. Hilarious team picture, though. I mean, could they give less of a ****? HAHA!

this game was ok. end of the second beginning of the third they spent most of their time at the other end. turris tried fighting but that never got anywhere. there were a few big hits here and there.

I saw Turris got a roughing at the end of the 2nd in the box score. I definately don't want him getting into that business. Especially after seeing what happened to Brassard last year. Not even Mike Mitera in the lineup. But man, that seems like a fun team to watch. I might order some Rampage games online this year.

He got hit from behind right at the horn and came up pissed off. Kind of a weak call IMO. Let them sort it out unless it gets out of hand, which it didn't.

I agree. Nothing really exciting. Could be b/c the head of the AHL was there (or someone like that...too many dollar beers).

I have seen numerous people say the game wasn't exciting. I disagree. It was a tight game the whole way. The passing on the first two rampage goals was absolute beauty. There were some big hits and some scrums. No fights because, honestly there's no history yet. Well, that and Lessard was serving his suspension.

Also, let's remember that a lot of these guys, on both teams, this was their first real game together. They need to gel. I thought it was an exciting game and the crowd was fantastic.

What have the lines been lately? And please give us constant updates on Turris, if you can. A lot of us are anxious to see how he does in the AHL.

Double Nickel is better with the lines than I am. So hopefully DN is willing to keep you up to date on the line combos.

San Antonio wins in OT 6-5 in Abbotsford. Sullivan with the winning goal. And that was after giving up 2 short-handed goals and then tying the game in the final 30 seconds of the third. Great comeback win!

That was a great comeback! Behind the whole game by scores of 3-1 down and 5-3 down. Very impressive against a team with Backlund, Chucko, Sutter, Seabrook, Negrin, Pelech, Lundmark..

Backlund vs Long. Teammates in Kelowna last year winning the WHL championship. Backlund seemed to significantly cut into Long's gravy PP time and prolly his quality of linemates.
