Thanks for keeping us ipdated, Jess.

Porter appears to be tearing it up down there...7 points in 4 games. How has he looked?

Hey, short fantasy-related question: Why aren't Ross and Ahnelov playing in the AHL at the moment? I heard that Ahnelov is injured, is this still the status? And if yes, how long?

Thanks, OcA

Didn't know Ahnelov was hurt, he has been practicing with the team. Ross was sent down to Vegas during training camp.

Okay, thanks. So Ahnelov will be playing soon and Ross is a candidate for an AHL-recall?

I hope ahnelov starts playing soon. He might be caught in the numbers area of the game right now. As we have to many guys on our roster right now. Not too sure about Ross, but he could be a candidate for a call up.

It's probably useles to ask, but I'm still wondering... what happened to Matt Jones? Long term injury? Quit hockey? I think it would be weird if he just went AWOL because he's on a 1 way contract and he'll be getting paid like an NHLer to play every once and a while. Sounds like a sweet deal to me.

Matt got a concussion during pre-season and is still out with post concussion syndrome. He has not been cleared to play.

Nice to see Turris and Tikhonov listed as the top 2 stars tonight with a goal and an assist each in a 4-1 win.

Sean Sullivan (2G, 6 A, 8 Pts, #2 in the AHL) and Kevin Porter (2G, 5 A, 7 Pts, #7 in the AHL) both have some solid stats so far.

Sullivan works overtime to nab AHL honor

Games on Fri, Sat and Sun? That's cool for fans but I'm sure rough on the players!

That's life in the AHL. They have at least 6 or 7 of those this year.

As far as the lines question from earlier in the thread, Ireland is still mixing and matching. The only constants are Tikhi and Turris play together, Porter and Kolarik play together, and Perrault and MacLean play together.

Last nights top 3 were:

MacLean-Perrault-Hoggan
Tikhinov-Turris-Hollweg?!?!
Kolarik-Porter-Belesky

I heard Lessard out with the top line a couple times and Belesky jumped all over the place.

It's a fun, fun team to follow. That's for sure.

Just watching last nights game. Beautiful goal by Turris. He scored from the left side with a great wrist shot where he had about 6 inches of space in the top corner of the near side with the goalie leaning slightly anticipating a cross ice pass/scoring opportunity. Great hands.

If you look at our roster, we had virtually NO playoff experience last year. With the stacked San Antonio team our young players should gain some experience being successful this year.

Here's hoping this is a good thing for the development of Turris, Boedker, Porter and Tikhonov.

Game was on Directv yesterday. Rampage looked great. Oh..and they move the puck better on the PP than the big club.

Could be more specific other than "DirecTV". There are a lot of channels on DirecTV!

Yeah, I want either a channel or streaming site so I can watch the Rampage this year. Watching Boedker, Turris, Porter, Tikhonen, and MacLean dominate the AHL should be fun.

I can't believe they charge that much for that poo service. I tried watching the first road game this year (for 7 GD dollars!) and it was terrible.

If you want to listen, their games are all streamed on the website. www.ticket760.com
