PHX would have to trade/ demote a player or not sign Lombardi or Stempniak to open a roster spot anyone. Not thinking Tiki or Turris out plays any of these guys at camp. Later in the season or after the waiver wire maybe someone gets in. DM did say he wanted some new blood so maybe some guys are draft day trades.

Wolski* Lombardi** Stempniak**

Prucha Hanzel* Vrbata

Korpi Fiddler Winnik*

Upshall Noke Doan

Biss

Pyatt**

* RFA's
** UFA's- DM stated he wanted to resign these guys.

Well, I want Tikhonov over Stempniak. And.. this may be a shocker to some.. but I think Winnik is beginning to play like an old man. He's regressed. And I had a man crush on him his rookie year. Flame away.

I think Turris impresses at training camp and makes the big club.

MacLean will be given a legit shot, too.

My 2010/2011 lineup:

Wolski - Turris - Doan
MacLean - Lombardi - Upshall
Tikhonov - Hanzal - Vrbata
Korpikoski - Fiddler - Prucha

Yandle - Morris
Jovo - Vandermeer/Aucoin
Sauer - Goncharov

Regrettably I feel we lose Michalek to free agency.

Methinks OEL will make the lineup too.

Hey Guys,

I had a chance to speak with Brett MacLean the other day, discussing his career thus far and where it might go in the future. He's a great kid, and you guys are really fortunate to have been able to scoop him up at #32.

If any of you are interested in checking out the interview, here's a link to do so!

If one game at the WJC made his stock that shaky, then IMO, no one had any real faith in him to begin with.

Mike Lee is fine. Neither goalie deserved the reputation gain or loss they got out of that one game.

Of course not, one game should not make that much of a difference. It tells me no one paid much attention to him during his season at St. Cloud where yes he was up and down, but he played fine for a freshman.
