Who's the starter on Sunday?

http://www.courierpostonline.com/new...s/s040304a.htm

Flyers coach Ken Hitchcock said his plan is to come back with Esche when the Flyers visit the New York Islanders Sunday. But he left open the possibility of changing his mind and going with Burke instead. If Hitchcock decides on Burke, it is a strong indication he'll start the playoffs with the 37-year-old netminder.

"(Starting Esche) is the plan right now," Hitchcock said. "We'll see how we feel (today)."

The way Esche has played he should be in the minors. We dominated the first period, then a f'ing wrist shot from the blue line, goal Sens. The team busts their buts only to be let down by Esche for the 4th straight game, if Esche starts another game this year, something is going to get broken in my house. And before you start saying I am coming down on Esche because he is slumping, that's BS. I have said from the day we got Burke he should be the man, and defended him when you all pissed all over him( with the exception being Bobbyclarke fan club) Burke has single handedly won or tied games for us, that's what we need, so when he starts, go Boo someone else.

Story of our lives right there in a nutshell. Burke is the guy, Esche is going to choke.
His good season means crap to me right now, the last games of the regular season is where you're supposed to shine, and Burke is doing that.

I say play the hot hand, which would be Burke. This team has been such a dissapointment down the stretch.

I'de give Esche another shot.

If he falters for sure Burke will get the start.

Burke may be playing better, but he's not exactly the hot hand. With Burke in net recently, we tied Pittsburgh and lost to Washington. Although Esche only won once since beating Jersey.

Esche has earned the opportunity to start this year in the playoffs. When Hackett went into the tank Chico was stellar up untill his injury. He won us at least 8-10 games by himself that we didn't deserve to win. To many of you our basing your opinions on his last few starts. I know he has been bad lately but like I said he deserves the shot.

He is having a pretty good game so far today making 3 or 4 key saves...both goals were clearly not his fault, more of a result of bad penalty killling.
