I am from Belfast, Northern Ireland and i have been a massive hockey (and rangers) fan for 10 years now. il be heading over to New York for 2 weeks in October and it my first time across the pond so i cant wait to take in some live NHL. Hoping to get tickets for the NYR vs Kings game on 14th October and was looking for some advice as to my best way to obtain these and when do they go on sale?
Also weare staying at Millford Plaza Hotel, 700 8th Avenue. How much roughly would is it in a taxi from here to the Garden? I know subway is the easiest method of travel in New York however my wife has a condition that makes it very difficult forher to walk long distances so taxis are best for us. In fact any idea of taxi prices to other major locations would be helpful too.
I apologise if i have posted this in the wrong section, just looking for a little help.
No idea on the taxi time but on the bright side ,if subway is an option you wouldn't have to do alot of walking because there's subway stations alllllll over the city anywhere and everywhere ,the stop to MSG is penn station and theres an underground walkway that leads you straight into the arena right off the train.
