What do you think? They seem to have done this in the past. Looking for some chemistry out of some guy playing for a job.

Not sure how they'd fit him. They already seem to have an abundance of forwards.

I think they are more likely to invite a defenseman....maybe Chelios as an invite to camp?

Don't forget Locke and possibly Rissmiller (who played most of last season in Hartford at center). There's already going to be some competition at camp.

I hope not. I dont think I can take another training camp hearing about how awesome Petr Nedved is and how he, or some washed up equivalent, should be our 4th line center.

I'm thinking that was mostly a Renney thing.

Unless he's terribly unhappy with the thoughts/ideas of possible Centers for this group, I don't believe Tortorella will take this route.

Hopefully you'll get to hear about how Fleury should be our 4th line winger.

Id expect that if anything, a vet defenseman gets invited to training camp on a tryout basis. I guess I could see Chelios.. where's Bryan Berard these days?

Oh, my mistake then.

Still, Sather seems to be taking a lot of queues from Coach, so I still doubt it.

Sather has been a Nedved fan.

Fluery?

We all know how Sather eats up those second chance stories.

Lol is Theo even eligible to play in the NHL? I could see Sather giving him a shot. I'd be amazed if he could keep up with the competition of a Torts camp after several years off and at 40+ years old.

Theo has sent his re-entry request to Bettman so I guess it just needs his approval then he is free to get an invite to someone camp.
