Ruutu or Horton?

Who will have the bigger impact in the NHL down the road? Tuomo Ruutu or Nathan Horton?

He's a Panther fan with a Lightning avatar...

Anyways, Horton, and I don't think I'm being a homer. He just hits EVERYTHING that moves out there, and crashes the net so damn hard. I'm more than happy with drafting him.

Ruutu is a badass in his own right, though.

Tuomo Ruutu

I think the Hawks have just as big a future as the Panthers do...(Especially if they win the Ovechkin lottery!)

I like Horton, he's a real future powerforward. I'd take him if I were given the choice of the two.

Ruutu's the next Peter Forsberg. Can you imagine him AND Ovechkin on the same line?

Ruutu

Horton will have the biggest impact on the injured reserve.

This post was hilarious, I'm not sure Horton will come back and play the way he does when he is at his best. Will probably be more laid back out there, kinda like how he was when he came back after getting into that fight with Anthony Stewart and everyone questioned how the injury affected him, and that he wasn't playing like the Nathan Horton of old.

RUUTU, he is solid, and a true leader. I can finally now see why he has been compared to Forsberg, he is just as dominant, just a smidge smaller.

Again with the completely incorrect statements. Didn't we disprove this earlier??

Horton would have scored 25+ goals this year if not for a FLUKE (if you saw the injury you would know, if you didn't even know it was the shoulder, you obviously didn't see the injury) injury.

Horton was the Panthers best player for over a month before he got hurt. He has hands better than most veterans I have seen in this league and plays a very phycisal game.

I have to go with Horton. I like Ruutu, but he is also 3 years older and had a bit more ice time. I can see both players becoming All-Star players and I like the physical games of both players.

I think right now Ruttu has to be considered a no-brainer in this one.

Does anyone want to take a stab at guessing how many points they will each get next year? (Assuming the season is full-length, and they both play 82 games)
