I'll take Seabrook instead.

This city is so afraid of superstars. Kane would be our top player...why are you scared of having a premier player? Considering our recent draft history, four firsts in exchange for Kane is a steal.

Maybe a deadline deal would be better, but either way, he'd be a welcome addition. Yes, Toews is better, but that's not an option. He's a Blackhawk forever.

First, the Sabres recent draft history has been very good IMO. Kassian this year and Myers/Ennis last year in the 1st round--not bad at all. You would trade those 3 players AND another top prospect for Kane? I wouldn't.

Second, I don't even think Kane would be the best player on the Sabres (I think Vanek is better).

I agree. I think once Kane is on a different team than Toews it'll be nothing but 40-something point years and a LOT of injuries.

Regier wouldn't have much say in it regardless. This would be a Larry Quinn production.

Lets see, he'll be 21 when he's an RFA. He won ROY and scored 70 points last year. At the age of 20.

He's from Buffalo.

he's a dynamic offensive talent who can change games. He needs to work on his defensive game, but that can be learned. He's already scored some big goals and has been a difference maker.

He has to grow up, but I think he has alot of upside left. I'd pay 4 1sts for him.

Kane, Myers, Kassian is a nice young compliment to Vanek, Roy, Miller.

Vanek - Timmy - Kane
X - Roy - Kassian

That's a hell of a top 6 in the future.

Personally, I'd love to see Kane in B&G, but I'd much rather work out a deal involving roster player(s) and pick(s) going back to Chicago than offer sheeting.

Not even pandering to the Hf mentality that picks are the most valuable things evar, but... Kane isn't worth those 4 picks, and he's yet ANOTHER small winger. Not interested at that cost.

I do feel regier will make some sort of run for him. Kane wants to be a sabre IMO, with rumor of him even wearing sabre gear to hawks team events. But it won't happen if the picks are involved
