It's Thornton, and he did suffer an injury in last night's tie with Washington. He left the game in the 3rd period with an "upper body injury." They're saying it may be his ribs. No word on how long it could be. One quote said he might be able to ice it and be back right away. Here is a link to the article in today's Boston Herald:

TSN says its his wrist and the Boston Herald says it's his ribs. Similair conflicting posts on the B's board. Seems nobody knows which is it or how bad it is and I doubt we'll find out. I'm sure all we'll hear is the old day-to-day upper body injury.

You may get your wish and play Senators or Leafs in the first round.

Other than that very classy posts from Darz and Mooch.

It's not Habs fans private club. That's why.

Only new Habs fan can say something like: "They're all closet Habs lovers."
It's not possible.

Do you really want to play Leafs or Sens? Because now it looks like Leafs/Sens won't have to jump over their heads to take division.

The Sens are the last team I'd want, who would you rather avoid ?

My reference is to the whinning Thornton did earlier in the year about retiring after this season.

Thornton injured? Yikes. Couldn't be worse timing. I hope it's not serious, otherwise we'll have to repeatedly hear that "we woulda won if Joe weren't hurt" from certain people. I still want to play the Bruins though - and let's avoid the Sens!

WE have 102 points now

Leafs 99 points
Sens 100 points

We have 2 games against NJD
Leafs are playing Buffalo and Sens( Leafs back to second night)
Senators are playing Flyers(Flyers back to back) Leafs (Both teams are back to back)

They both have more wins than us and we will play last two without Joe
so.... There is a huge chance you'll play Sens/Leafs, specially Sens.

And just to make you not so comfortable if we'll manage to beat NJD back to back without Thornton I don't see any problems playing the Habs.

GO GO!!!

Noooo! We want youuuu!!!

Seriously, if we play the Sens, might as well shine those golf clubs early as we stand no chance. Plus I want to see a Leafs - Sens 1st round matchup so badly...

I can't beleive I'm going to do this but... go Bruins go...

I feel dirty.
