I must admit, I got a bit surprised at that too. Though Jimmie has looked good so far this preseason. The trick to appreciating Ölvestad is to not expect him to do anything useful with the puck. He can be an effective player though, even very effective from time to time, if he is put in the kind of role that he is suited for. But BÅG usually do not use his role players that way. I wish he could have given this spot to a junior player like Josefson, Klingberg or Pääjärvi instead.
Looking good for the homeboys, good thing they actually chose some good, young, highly talented kids, instead of the same old guys like Kallio and Hahl who never give anything to the national team...Kähkönen, Mäntymaa, Kuusela, Kiiskinen etc. those guys already play the game better.
