Saw him blank the P Bruins two weeks ago 4-0. Although Slaney was the #1 star, the kid was great...cool, calm, quick, and poised.

So we know who our #2 goalie is next year.

just another indication that we draft well. and although we did empty the cupboard, mostly due to injuries, we can fill it up over time as well.

Niityamaki should be given every opportunity to START with the Flyers next year.

Esche has proven he is an excellent #2 guy.

I wouldn't go that far yet...Esche is still better then Artero right now. The only thing I see from Artero that he has to improve is his rebound control.

Also Antero has a way of overcommitting and then scrambling when he moves side to side. Otherwise, he's a fast, acrobatic goaltender with an excellent glove hand.

Don't worry, he'll probably be traded.

Another solid performance tonight - 1 goal allowed with 35 saves.

Ummmm...Escher is one of the worst goalies in the NHL when it comes to rebound control and better improve if he wants to be a starter. If Nitty is the real deal, I'd trade Esche and not lose a seconds sleep...I'm pretty sure Clarkie would do the same...cause he likes Bannanas

Yeah, you are right. Clarke will find another 35 year old D to trade for next year.
