Make it blue and perhaps slightly modify the striping on the arms and you have a winner! I love the plain bottom of some teams' jerseys these days.

They should make the Turn Back the Clock sweaters they wore to commemorate the NHL's 75th anniversary in 1992 their alternate sweaters. These:

I like where your head is at but the edge design is not for an original 6 team.

Don't Detroit, Chicago, Boston, Toronto and Montreal all use the Edge design? Why are we different?

I think he meant that although they use the edge jerseys, they don't have the piping and underarm schemes that the edge jerseys were designed to encourage.

I really like that. Really do. Not too much and not too boring in my opinion, BUT, as mentioned above, the style isn't for an Original Six team.

I think the NYR marketing department is at a loss for ideas right now and is secretly using this thread to come up with the new design. If enough of us suggest pink as the main jersey color it'll happen

I agree with all of you saying the Edge style sucks and really if they went that route they would have to go with the edgier liberty logo/color scheme they used before it's the only way to pull it off. The Rangers with all the great tradition and history do have one of the hardest logos to work with lol.

Pretty simple road white with a bit different design.

Same design with the crest instead of Rangers diagonal.

Added the 70's esque shoulders.

Lady Liberty with the Edge style.

This one might need some more white.

The top one is cool, and it would be awesome to wear our whites at home like the leafs do with their thirds.

Yeah they're not bad, just messing around with some different ideas used the Oilers/Panthers style for these with the stripes on the arms that don't go all the way around and the piping.

This is exactly what I want. Liberty logo, with simple colors and simple design. No silver or dark dark blue a la our old 3rd. This blue is a bit lighter.

Nice work.

The NYS flag on the shoulder wouldnt be a bad shoulder patch either.

They should have "New York" written on the blue jersey, "Rangers" on the white and Liberty as a third!

Should meet everybody halfway imo And it would rock

I found a CCM toddler jersey with New York written on the chest at my moms two months ago... Remember wearing it as a kid like it was yesterday

The Lady Liberty's just awesome! That should be our alternate. I swear, man, that looks really good. I know I said I don't like using the EDGE designs on Original 6 jerseys, but we didn't stick to traditional designs when we had the Lady Liberty prior to the EDGE so it's not a big deal with this one.

As to the other ones, I don't like when the bands around the arms don't go completely around like the Panthers and Oilers jerseys. It looks retarded.

Can't have New York written on the blue because that's our home jersey.

Nothing irritates me more than when home teams where the city name on the jersey.

You wear the city name on the road, and the team name at home.

Ticked me off when the Mets eliminated their New York black alternate. I hate the black but it was better as a road alternate with New York across it. Now they just have the one that says Mets that they were in both places.

I'm just being a stickler of course, and this is more a traditional thing. Goes back to when there wasn't television and stuff and people would go to the game and the visiting team would have their city name on the chest.

Yep. I'm a huge fan of traditional jerseys. The Blackhawk's red and Flyer's orange jerseys have been a pleasure to see on the ice this week.
