Real? Thinking about bidding on it.
Definitely real. Was thinking on bidding on it myself. I'll pass though. No need for another jersey right now.

I have a question before I go do this to anybody if they already have but I wanna see if I can get down to the NHL store on 47th and 6th and I'm wondering if they customize jerseys right there in the store. The follow up is whether or not its sewn on or that press on garbage the NHL seems to always want to do. If anybody can help me out that'd be super.

They use real twill but heat press them onto the jersey. It's not the crappy plastic stuff they usually use, but it's also not sewn. Visually, it's really tough to tell that it's not sewn though. I'll post a picture when I find my camera cord.

Eh, that's good enough for me. It's for my girlfriend, not for me and I don't think she could care/tell either way. Thanks for the info.

It's only $45 (including taxes) and they do it in the store in about 20 minutes. It's a cheap alternative that 99% of people wouldn't even notice. I bought an authentic Gomez for $85 (end of season Garden sale), stripped the nameplate and the "9's" off, and had it changed into a Gaborik at the NHL store. So now I have a #10 Gaborik and the new "0's" look just like the already sewn "1's" look. The letters are sewn onto the nameplates too, just the nameplate itself is heat pressed to the jersey. I'll post a pic as soon as I can. It looks pretty much perfect though.

the only thing you have to watch for with the NHL store is that sometimes the nameplate doesnt get pressed on all the way. Both my Staal and Thornton jerseys had the nameplate start to peel after a week or so, and I had to bring back to get the nameplates re-ironed. Its not a big deal though, they're super nice about it, and it gives me an excuse to go and look at the hotties in their NHL shirts

Eh, I'd say more than a slight bit smaller. I fit comfortably into a XXL, so i bought a XXXL from yoyocart and it's still a little snug on me. My girlfriend is a youth XL and I bought her an adult medium from yoyocart and it fits her pretty well. The thing I have noticed is that while the body of the jersey is smaller, the sleeves seem about the actual size of the jersey you're getting (meaning if you order a size up, which you should, the sleeves might be a little bit long. They're excellent fakes though.

Unfortunately, I seem to remember that Gaborik - 2 weeks up about 2 months ago on Yoyocart.

I really want a white one unfortunately.

Okay I have a follow up question on the women's jersey situation. The NHL store won't customize them because they say they're too small. Does anybody know any jersey customization places that are legit anywhere in the tri-state area? My last resort is to send it in somewhere but I'd rather have this done in person. So much work for a damn present lol...

Cosby's is probably your best bet if you want to go local. They fit numbers and letters to the size of the jersey. It's going to cost around $90 though.

I dunno man, those look sort of wacky. All of them have different RANGERS slants and are put on the wrong places, too close together. I'd wait for yoyo's version, the front looks a LOT better.

I was at JimBob's embroidery shop the other day picking up a jersey my friend was getting done (2004 USA Leetch WC jersey) and I saw a female Rangers jersey with Dubinski being sewn on. The numbers def looked smaller than the regular ones they use.

I got a friend who is a cop in NYC and he took me to Little Italy this weekend and i met a guy who works with him who told me about the Rangers jerseys that were being bootlegged in NYC and how awesome they were. I asked how much he said 45.00 I figured they were cheap knock offs but i got my Staal in today and it is pretty darn sweet. I ordered 3-4 more depends on if he could get more he said they are hit or miss. If anyone wants one pm me for pictures and i wil email them to u
