You should be very proud of it, one of the nicest jerseys in the league

Well, at least it's green. Anything that gets rid of that hideous brick-red is a step in the right direction. But other than that, I'm not exactly bowled over by it. It may grow on me, though!

Too bad the guy that designed your jersey isn't original.

Yes. That's just a human tragedy.

I don't think those look anything alike. Apart from having the name in script, and if that's what you mean then Anaheim's thirds are hardly something to point to as a source.

Well it did three things right and that, in my opinion, is enough for it to warrant my money:

1) It brought back a foundation color for this team, and a color that predominately covers our Logo.

Figure A:

Not to mention, how many people were all because we looked like Christmas colors out there with the red ones on? The same red jerseys that so many people elected should be the primary color of the team when they were forced to go back to two jerseys.

2) The 2004 ASG jersey's were considered by a lot of people to be one of the best ever created for an all-star event. They had a classic yet modern feel behind them which eventually became the bases of a lot of other teams alternate jerseys by bringing back the laces.

Figure B:

Notice where the colors of the new one resemble? And the stripes? They basically took one of the most liked jersey's and made it their own.

3) They are trying to tie in exactly what they said they were going to with the new jersey back when they said they were looking into it....to bring the heritage of the sport in the state together. Both college AND prep. A lot of similarities in the lettering from the Gophers and even Maple Grove (only one I know for a fact) has a jersey which has that type of lettering on it as well.

My Conclusion:

While I'm not exactly about what they did with it, believing too much was put in as to what other teams have done (reminds me a lot of the Rangers, the alternate for Colorado and Anaheim to name a few). I still think it has a lot of great things about it and it will be worth my money to get one because I really do think they look pretty good compared to some other teams and their alternates or even normal home jerseys.

I love the look. Nothing says old school hockey heritage like pine green and white. It immediately reminds me of pond hockey and going back to hockey's roots. I just wish the crest wasn't a wordmark, but the simplicity of the jersey design and colors far outweighs the logo, or arguably lack thereof.

How can anyone think that this jersey isn't one of the best thirds in the NHL?

I like this jersey i like It a lot better than the home ones. Anytime the Wild release a jersey Im still hoping someone can tell Dallas to take a hike and force them to change there name so Minny can go back to the North Stars love that jersey I the miss good ol' days its just not fair...

With these jersey's I really hope the Winter Classic is in Minneapolis next year and its Dallas vs Minnesota. Dallas in a white North Star jersey and Minnesota in those.

Do the Wild have a catchy nick-name we can throw on the jersey?!!?

"Sens" / "Bolts" is horrible.

These Wild jerseys aren't too shabby, I like em.

That's a pretty sharp looking jersey. The colours are great. I hate the thick stripe at the bottom of the jersey though - I think it should be narrower. It will probably look better with hockey pants. The logo looks very baseballish to me - not sure why. Looks good though

A little bland, but solid at the same time. Great colors, and an all-around classy look.

I would like to see the green jersey with the logo back, with a couple of tweaks to the design.

It was one of the nicest jerseys around.
