Rangers Pre-Camp Workout

Jim Cerny, who writes for the Rangers website, is reporting from the workout, saying about 30 players are on ice, including Dubinsky.

Looks he will re-sign after all.

I like to see that theres commitment there. Like that gabby is out there early and not sitting home soaking in his new fat contract. I know when we signed him he said he was training already, but its nice to see he's with his new team early ready to go to work for this year.

Wish there was some video to watch, see gabby in a rangers practice jersey

They go for regular season face value but there are usually plenty of season ticket holders willing to sell them for well below face.

Check out the ticket thread

I think I may be the minority around here, but I'm hoping Sangs impresses the shot at camp and wins the #6 spot.

Count me in as well. He's so underrated on these boards and I really hope he makes a good impression at camp.

You are not alone.

I am hoping equally, though, for both Sanguinetti and Del Zotto to get the #6 spot. I will be really excited if either of them get it.

Sauer if both of them can't handle it yet.

Yeah. I want MDZ to get another dominant OHL year under his belt though. I'm not high on Potter at all, I'm no NHL braintrust but I don't know what's so special about him. And for Sauer, I like him, but I think with the way the team is constructed a need for someone like Sangs is more needed than someone like Sauer.

I like sangs alot but I think MDZ is ahead of sangs and really does not need another year in the OHL. He impressed so much in camp last year that ppl were thinking he might make the team and not go back to juniors. I think MDZ is ready from some of the quotes I've read from him

Del Zotto could be ready but honestly why rush him?. They did'nt do it with Staal and if he goes back for one more year of OHL and dominates it just shows he's ready for next season

rather break in Gilroy, Sanguinetti and Sauer this year. Don't bother signing a veteran Dman just go with that combo with maybe help from Heikkinen . I would say Potter is a long shot and at most he would be a 7th Dman, gone next yr via FA or in a deal this year
