Great post by Chris Cutter, who joined HFBoards in March of 2008, and registered his first post in a thread about Guy Carbonneau which ended up being locked.

And this is why he will captivate this city. A consummate professional who understands and relishes the pressure that comes in playing for this team. He wants to win the crowd, capture the spotlight. This city will bring out the best out of him, like it did for Kovalev.

Great read, really looking forward to Cammy lighting it up. Such a positive attitude is beginning to rub off on me.

I do agree with his point about D who can move the puck, it is a luxery, some teams only have 1 guy who can truly do that and he isn't even one of the top guys in the league who can do it.

I agree, the manner in which stats are carpet bombed into the text is really annoying while you read it. Poor writing.

That said... holy ^%$#... I cannot wait for the NHL season to ramp up. Every other sport is getting on my nerves now.

I like the fact that he puts Hamerlik in the puck moving defenseman category.
Hammer should bouce back from his so-so year.
I have high expectations towards him and Cammy....I personnaly see a 35 goals season which would be a really good first season with the habs

I just noticed that besides Jarome Iginla (89 points) and Mike Cammalleri (82 points) the Flames had no other player crack 50 points last year...who the heck is gonna score for them??! Oh wait...that was us last year too and one of those over 50 was a d-man..

They do have a sick defence this year though...

I've definitely warmed to seeing Cammalleri here given his recent comments.

That said, looking at his numbers, I'm not sure why he isn't at the Canada Orientation Camp. Definitely deserved a look, even though he probably would not have made the team.
