I heard he's buying a house near by Gomez... maybe they'll have a sleepover and watch Dans une galaxie près de chez vous DVD box set together to improve their french...

I think he should be working hard.....i mean considering his size and the size of the defense that the East carries......not to mention Toronto's d-core....he going to get banged around a lot

He's got to be in good shape to stay injury free.......cause if he gets injured the Habs take a huge hit offensively.

Looks to be an exciting season for everyone. Leafs fans are chomping at the bit too......training camp cannot come sooner.

I dont understand how size = injury prone.

correct, but if your a small guy hits are punishing when they are given my 6"4' and above d-men. Injuries as a whole happen more in the east because of size

I'm glad Cammy chose to come to the Mecca of hockey, or Vatican if you will. It goes to show that even with some of the negative press, Montreal is a place where you can become a god among men if you give your all to the team and help them win. Mike understands this and will do well.

I am predicting he makes the Olympic team after a strong start and injuries to wingers slotted to make the team.

Don't worry, he'll just skate right around Komisarek, you'll get used to it after time.

I was gonna say St. Louis as an example but the south east division is hardly physical, i get his point, it's related to the « Pronger Physics ». Elbow are more likely to end up in the face of Cammalleri than Chara

Yeah, I really have nothing against smaller guys, as long as they arent affraid to go in front of the net or in the corners. Much rather a feisty 5'5 forward (Brian Gionta) than a giant lama like Brian Boyle who won't use his size properly... I'd still take him on my team though

Totally agree. Don't know why he tried to plug those facts in almost each paragraph.

I also see him as captain material. And he seems very excited to put on the jersey. He's going to be great for us!

Completely irrelevant. Injuries to big or average sized players happen just as often as injuries to small ones.

I mean, do you have proof because this sounds like a very made up fact.

I like the fact you come in to bash subtlety. If Cammelleri goes down, we're in trouble because Gomez won't produce???
If Camm goes down, we still have Gomez, Plekanec, A.Kost, Lats, Gionta, S.Kost who are all expected to produce quite well. Not to mention D'Ago and MaxPac.
Losing Camm wouldn't be a good thing but we have plenty of depth on the wing.

I seriously don't think you should even be talking about this considering your main offensive threat is Jason Blake. Lose Grabovski and your #1 center becomes Matt Stajan backed up by Wayne Primeau.

Your D is the only thing TO fans can cheer about, but you'll quickly notice that you have too many Ds of the same style.

I'm very excited about Cammalleri, hes quickly becoming one of my top 5 Hab favorites. However, am I the only one who thinks Gionta will come out of the gate guns blazing? I think this guy is so under-rated that he will just surprise everyone. I am very optimistic about this year, maybe not a cup year, but definitely rivaling the season we had 2 years ago.

Yeah the combos for the top 2 lines, and the Potential powerplay lines are making me all Gaga over this coming season's roster.

I haven't watched the interview yet, but I can easily guess the reason that he signs with Habs: $6M/year for a total of $30M.
