Minnesota on Tanguay's radar

Does Tanguay make sense for the Wild?

Wild, Tanguay talking ...

If they can fit him under the cap, I think he'd be a great addition.

Do it. Tanguay is non-factor when it matters.

Love the addition and plus he gets the opportunity to stick it to Colorado and Calgary a few times in the year

I guess his hit on the Wild's cap was too much as Fletch passed on him. Too bad.
He's a skilled passer could have combined well with Havlat.

Fletch gave him an offer that still put us under the cap and still gave us some type of wiggle room come deadline time along with keeping options open for next year. Alex either took the $500k more or wanted to play in Tampa. Probably both though cause I'm sure in his mind Tampa has a better shot at the playoffs.
