I know Quist wasn't signed by the deadline in June, but with the lack of a transfer agreement, and the fact that he's still on the Oilers' site, he's been included again this year for those interested (though he's playing in a lower league than last year).

MPS is just off to a slow start. My guess is he'll probably start picking it up in around the third week of September. But that Abney, he's already having a putrid season and is showing what a bad pick he was with zeros across the board. I'm sure we'll hear all kinds of excuses like his season hasn't started yet, or the coach is telling him to focus on defense.

Should be a VERY exciting year across the pond. I can't remember a season where I've been so hopefully about players in Europe.

Everyone says it, but really, you're doing a great thing gathering this info and I don't think one other board on here has something has good as this. Thanks for making his info so easy to get.

Hartikainen has already played 6 preseason games. He's 3-1-4 +1 in that span.

Of the years that Seachd has spent maintaining this outstanding thread, this will be the first time for me that I'll have more of an interest in how the Euros are doing than any other group (AHL, junior, college).

MPS, Omark, Lander, Hartikainen, Rajala (WHL)...there's some actual talent to be seen here. It'll be fun to watch their progress, and once again much thanks to Seachd for the work he does with this.

Our Finn is looking better each day. I wonder how his skating is, as that's his main weekness. But damn , 6GP 3-1-4 as a 19 year old in a mens league, despite it being preseason? I think that's pretty damn good for the kid.

Olivier Roy has played 1 preseason game. He played the full 60 minutes. 2 goals against on 29 shots. Philippe Cornet is 0-1-1 -1 in 2GP.

Cape Breton plays tonight (September 2nd) and on Friday. Roy, I'm guessing, will play at least one of those games before heading off to Oilers rookie camp. I'm not sure if Cornet will make either of the Huskies games this weekend.

Cape Breton destroyed Halifax 9-2. Olivier Roy played the second half, allowing 1 GA on 21 shots.

Not like it means a tremendous amount, but he's now 2-0-0 with 3 GA on 47 shots.

Is Bisaillon signing in Germany old news? Not that it matters, I know he's not our property anymore, but I just hadn't heard that.

That horrible ending to the 06-07 season resulted in so many D-men getting their one cup of coffee in the NHL.

SVT's highlights from Sweden's game vs. Russia in the Czech Hockey Games (first of the four Euro Hockey Tour tournaments).

Linus Omark (#23) assisted Johan Harju (#24) on Sweden's 1-0 goal.
He then scored the 2-0 goal himself, assisted by linemate Patrik Zackrisson (#27), and was on the ice for Harju's 3-2 goal (Zackrisson with another assist).
Sweden eventually won the game after a shootout goal by Mattias Weinhandl.
Omark's shootout attempt was stopped by Russian goalie Alexander Eremenko.

Omark now has a total of 24 points (7+17) in 21 games for Team Sweden.

Should you have any problems with SVT's highlights (dunno if it's restricted in any way) you could always try this shorter clip from TV4.
