Kinda unrelated, but a popular pre-draft guy here for the second round pick, Richard Panik (picked up by the Lightning 52nd overall) is ripping up Spitfire camp right now, scoring highlight reel goal after highlight reel goal in the exhibition.

I'm using Firefox and it's worked for me. I'll try to describe them better for you.He takes a breakout pass from around the defensive blueline, he's just outside the offensive blueline skates in to the top of the right circle passes cross ice under the d-mans stick to a steaming Horcoff, I mean streaking Timra player for the goal.

Lander gets the puck at the left side of the defensive blueline skates all the way in with a defender chasing and wrists it high, then they show him throwing a check on the left side boards.

Timra forward throws a puck at net, Paajarvi comes in right to left and chips it under the cross bar for his first goal in the crease.

2nd goal: takes a cross ice pass along the RW boards just before the blueline, skates in and to the middle of the ice and gets between the circles and wrists it home with an impressive wrister.

Hartikainen had an assist in a 4-1 KalPa win.

He gets the honor of being the first player in the Oilers system to score an 09/10 regular season point.

Sounds like he's playing along the right wing...

Thx again BBO. I actually managed to get it working. For those still having problems, try turning off your add-blocker on that page

And yeah it looked like he was playing RW this game. All his points had him on the right side.

Omark is playing right now. There's a live stream at:

He's #67 in blue.

It sure looked like it as everything he did came from that side of the ice.

So how was the description vs. what you saw?

It didn't work for me because it says that you have to install something, not sure I'd trust that site to install it for me

It's just silverlight. It's Microsoft's answer to flash I believe. And the descriptions were bang on.

Thx for the link Seachd

Same...got it going full screen on my monitor, with nary a hiccup.

For anybody interested, Omark is #67 on the blue team.

Every time I check in on Olivier Roy, he's getting lit up. 3 goals in half a game.

Every time?

How many times have you checked in on him?

I must say in the very limited sample size that I saw from Kytnar I wasn't very impressed. I'll reserve "final" judgement until I see him in some preseason games.

You won't like Kytnar, BBO. He's too low event, his offense comes from try and transitional play not raw skill.

Does he hit? Low event is o.k. IMO as long as you also dish out some punishment.

A bit, yeah. Maybe not to the level you'd want him to.

He'll play you tough on the boards, dig pucks out, etc.

I think this is the year to watch Bumagin. Much was made about how little ice time he got in Atlant, and now he's going to get much bigger minutes with his new team. He played about 14 minutes and got 2 assists in his first game of the year.

Hartikainen got a goal and an assist.

Now 1-2-3 in 2GP.

Is this guy more comparable to Tomas Holmstrom, or Johan Franzen?

Holmstrom, from what I know.

Likes to camp out. Not a wide toolkit.

So basically it will be him and Vande Velde auditioning for Penners role in a few years?

The two big differences between Holmstrom and Franzen are hockey sense and a lethal shot.

Franzen has more of each.

Both are strong, pesky, and aren't the best of skaters.

I hope Hartakainen can be more like Franzen - because although Holmstrom's net presence is undeniable and valuable, Franzen's all-around impact is worth more.
