And Franzen did what everyone was thinking of doing.

I think Omark is playing on a line with Hudler. Just looking at the game stat sheet though, their line got murdered.

Omark -3 and Hudler - 2 for their last game.

Thanks, is there somewhere you are getting KHL scores in English?

I just use the www.khl.ru and have google auto-translate it. You'll get the general idea of things well enough.

Hartikainen was pointless.

Abney starts his season tonight. As do the Wheat Kings, but I haven't heard if Rajala is still hurt.

Those are tomorrow night. Hopefully Rajala gets in soon. Can't wait to see how he does.

Omark held pointless.

2 points in 4 games. Same as Hudler.

Me too. I love Rajala and am hoping for big things from him in the W this season

He's not ours... yet... but Novotny buried 4 goals and added an assist on Thursday in his first game back with Kelowna. Backlund who?

How long do we have to sign him? Is it September 30?

I think that's what Millard said. I don't see too much risk in signing him. He won't count against the 50 contracts, he can stay in junior 2 more years, and he seems to have at least a little bit of upside.

Great for him, hopefully he can grow his game this season.

I liked what I saw of him and saw enough skill for me to want us to sign him in rookie camp. Hopefully they can get it done. BTW-is Backlund still in Cowgary camp?

Hartikainen had two assists and was a +2. He was the third star today.

Now 1-4-5 in 5GP.

Holy crap, Hesketh's season doesn't start until the end of November? And I though Nash had a crappy hockey schedule

Good on him, where is he in terms of team scoring?

Yeah, he's still in Flames camp.

And if they cut him, it will to be Abbotsford not Kelowna.

5th in team scoring.

21st in league scoring.

KalPa is the hottest team in the Sm-Liiga. It appears he's playing with Sami Kapanen, who has 6 points.

Man are they ever a high scoring bunch. I wonder how inflated his stats are playing on a team like this?

Could be.

According to this site (click on configurations next to the KalPa game) he plays on the third line at ES.

He does play a lot more PP minutes than you'd think though, and I'm sure on the unit with Sami Kapanen.

I wouldn't mind tossing Kapanen a token camp invite next fall to make Hartikainen (and Rajala, for that matter) a bit more comfortable. Sami's obviously been an NHL player before and can help with translation.
