I don't think there's a live televise of the games but there's a Game In An Hour version of the game that comes on like an hour or something after the games done.

This is the perfect opportunity for Leafs tv to give their viewers something of value, and again they don't televise it. It's such a useless channel, if it wasn't for those exclusive games I don't think I'd tune into the channel at all.

Seriously, why aren't Leafs tv all over these games for live coverage? I'm sure people would be watching.

Because believe it or not, not enough people outside of this board would tune in on a Sunday afternoon to watch some prospects play an exhibition game against other prospects to make a broadcast worth it.

Looking good. Burke and Fletcher have done a very good job of replenishing the prospect pool.

I don't know about anybody else, but LeafsTV and their constant showing of Game in an Hour is the only thing getting me through the slow summer.

They definitely would if they advertised it. The prospects tournament has the privilege of being the first real NHL related games of the season. With the rebuild and a little more media attention they could definitely get people watching, its hockey and its early September.

agreed, there wudnt be a massive audience for live rookie tourney games, but are u then saying that what they have on presently (presumably some rerun of visiting Darcy tickers home) wud outdraw the live game?? I mean if they show the highlights, surely that means they at least have a skeleton production crew for it, so it cudnt cost so much to show it live...

I've got tickets to the Sunday game. Fricken stoked!!!

I've heard that Rogers TV is showing some of the games. The SUnday game against Pitts for sure. Not sure about the rest.

I went last year. I'd go again this year, but I don't have the time.

I'm guessing union reasons why this cannot happen, but you'd think if they twinned with a broadcast program at Humber College or something the cost of broadcasting would be relatively inexpensive however ...

For real.

Or even toss the project on to some Ryerson students or something... god, anything.

Rogers TV, is televising three games that I know of.

Sunday: Tor vs. Pitts
Wednesday: Pitts vs. Toronto
Thursday: Toronto vs. Ottawa

Don't know if the other games are on Leafs TV or not. But I cant see the Leafs vs. Boston scheduled to show on any channel - though some channels schedules are released yet.

I took it right from the Rogers TV website, I questioned the same, and that was the reason I made sure to type it as shown, first game Tor vs. Pit, second game Pit vs. Tor. Unless Rogers has it posted wrong as you have pointed out, but the time shown matches the tournament schedule.

Honestly, I'm pretty sure they'd get a lot more viewers for that (or any of the Marlies games if they'd ever show them) than reruns of some random game in 2006 or the other junk they put on there.

But that's just me: out with the old, in with the new.

Rogers cable channel 9 has the rights to broadcast Toronto Marlies games throughout the year.. Seeing as these rookies mostly are going to be Marlies then that would be the best guess that its also being shown on that channel.

Took the schedule from here:

Cable 10 & 63 Toronto
Cable 20 Guelph
