Love it, one of the smallest guys and the biggest. I still think I would put my money on Tyrell.

Hedman said he didn't forget the hit from the WJC's.

Certainly well enough to beat Tyrell. He has like 2 losses during his career, one to a decent fighter Szhwez who cought him with a lucky punch, and 1 from Jeremy Yablonski who is probably a TOP 10 heavyweight in the World right now.

Exactly, and it was more the fact that Tyrell has the balls to try and fight him that I would pick Tyrell to win.

And yeah that hit at the WJC's was amazing, I would have loved to see what Tyrell could have done there playing on Tavares line.

Tyrell is not even that great of a fighter for his size. Come on, Mihalik isn't a popular guy around here, but let's not be ridiculous, Tyrell is no match for him in fighting.

And this "not very well at fighting" is based on what? Los to Yablonski? Tyrell would have won against Yablonski?

It is all tongue in cheek yes Tyrell would be destroyed. But I love the fact that he isnt backing down from a guy a foot taller than him. Just like the Hedman hit at the WJCs. And yeah Mihalik isnt in good standing, last year was a perfect time for him to make the team, but he hasnt turned into the Chara-lite we were hoping for, so for now he is still on his way to being a bust.

He was always a long term project, but I never expected him to play like such a mangina.

Scrimmage ends in a tie with some controversy as hutchings had one disallowed for kicking it in.

Is Hutchings making as good a first impression as these one-line scrimmage blurbs lead one to believe? How is his play aside from the scoring?

It looks like Hutchings has been the most impressive during this rookie camp!

He was definitely one of the most impressive during the past rookie camp in July.

Yes, I will be at everything until they leave town on the 12 game in 5 night 4 time zone adventure.

Hutchings has been the best player on the Ice during the scrimmages, imo. He is always in position, and the kid can skate. He is also not afraid to go to the front of the net. Its going to be interesting to see how he continues to develop, he has all the tools to be something special, imo.

How has Hedman looked? Has he looked better than he did in July?

Absolutely. Tyrell as well as Hedman have stuck out to me when I was there.

Fadden looks good too.

The players look hungry(figurative). I'm excited, as it feels like we've finally got some serious offensive prospects in the system.

He had someone lined up along the boards yesterday and eased up obviously, but if was a regular season game, I have no doubt he would have put him in row 4, killed him, or all of the above. I am salivating at the idea of the first time Kovalchuck tries to come down the wing on him.
