I think there's Cech, Miller, Matty, Army, Straka, and I don't know who else.

I think Miller (3 yrs left), Kanko (3), Armstrong (2 + option), Norstrom, (2), Gleason (2), Brown (2), Grebeshkov (2), Klatt (1 + option), Cechmanek (1), Frolov (1), Straka (1), Cammalleri (1), Chouinard (1), and Lehoux (1) are signed for next season.

Gr II RFAs are, I believe, Allison, Deadmarsh, Carter, Visnovsky, Cowan, Belanger, Chartrand, Avery, Kelly, Kuznetsov, Corvo, Holland, Pirnes, Huet, Flinn, Zizka, Barney, Clarke, and Rullier.

Gr III UFAs are Palffy, Robitaille, Stumpel, Modry, Muir, and Hnilicka.

Gr V eligible are Laperriere and Dempsey.

Gr VI UFAs are Tripp, Rosa, Smithson, Schmidt, and Seeley.

I do not guarantee accuracy, but this is what I believe the status of the players are.

I think I might have read somewhere that Barney is a Group VI also.

I think that some of these are a little different. I could be wrong.

NHL Players or guys I think Will be NHL Players:
Miller (2 yrs left),
Armstrong (2 + option)
Norstrom, (2)
Gleason (2)
Brown (2)
Grebeshkov (2)
Klatt (2) (His option was conditional and he came in this year)
Cechmanek (1)
Frolov (1)
Straka (1)

Prospects: Who are on the bubble.
Cammalleri (1)
Chouinard (0) (think he only had a 1 year contract)
Lehoux (1)
Kanko (2) (We signed him last year then sent him to juniors, rookie contract is still 3 years so thats 2 still to go)

Thats it I think.

Kanko signed last year, but he did not play the required 10+ games in the NHL to count as a year on his contract, so the contract was rolled over to this year. This applies to under 20 players that sign a contract but is sent down to Juniors.

I had Chouinard's info wrong, he should be a Gr II RFA.

As to Miller, he signed a four year extension in March of 2003. So he should have 3 years left.

Cool good to hear. I thought the Junior thing only counted towards when he can get arbitration and increased RA rights not how many years he had on his rookie contract.

I wonder if we are going to resign Chouinard? He sure has had problems this year. Wonder what the organization thinks of Hauser?

Miller for 3 more years? Really? Good god thats a long-term contract. I had thought it was a extention of his last contract and the ifrst year was a upgrade of that same year. Meaning he would be down to 2 more years and not 3. Guess I was wrong.

I don't know what the Kings are thinking in terms of goaltending. With Huet signed to play in Switzerland next season, (he has out clauses to play in the NHL if there is a season, but you never know) and I believe Hnilicka a UFA, Cechmanek is the only signed goaltender at this point.

Hauser has had a good season in Manchester, so I would hope he is in the mix for next season. There is also Nathan Marsters who finished his Senior season with RPI, and had a solid season. I think Terry Denike's rights will be lost if he does not sign with the Kings by June 1, but I don't know whether he is in the Kings plans.

There may be a few goalies available as Gr VI UFAs that the Kings see as potential winners, or RFAs may not be qualified due to depth in an organization's system, but I don't who might be available.
