''Stiffer'' Hockey Stick

I just bought a one 95 102 pro flex shaft. But once on the ice, I used to find it a bit too whip (surely not a standard 102 flex, which I usually use). The length of the stick is just ok, so would it be a solution to cut one or too inches from it an then put a wooden tip?

If you want to make it stiffer, you would have to cut some of it off. Do you mean a wooden plug, to add length back? That would kind of reverse any changes you've made. If you want it stiffer, the end length of the stick will have to be shorter.

Yeah, that's what I meant (concerning the plug): Cut the composite shaft and then put a plug of same length. But if the wood's stiffness is to be less than the composite's, I agree there are no reasons for the try. Anyway, I'll think about it, but I don't think cutting an inch away will affect my game too much, so that's probably what I'm gonna do.
