And all the other little monsters I couldn't think of at the moment?

Wicked that Slipknot is coming. Saw them back in (I want to say 05??? It was January, and in support of Subliminal Verses, with Killswitch and Unearth opening). Unreal energy on stage. I remember that show seemed really odd as I'd never been to a metal show where there were so many little kids. There were even Dads with 5yr olds on their shoulders??? Guess it means the next generation of metalheads will be strong, so good on them.
That was the first concert I ever went to... fantastic

Trivium with Chimaira, Whitechapel, Darkest Hour, and Dirge Within will be at Edmonton Events Center November 21. Tickets are 32.50 according to their website.

I liked Triviums first 2 CD's but their last couple have sucked. I've never seen them live. I might check it out though if it's that cheap.

That venue blows. I saw Satriani there and I will never go there again.

I don't mind it now that they did their renovations. Its a nice small club show. The Shaw is probably the worst venue in teh city. The ceiling is way too high and the accoutics just suck.

There is no place to sit. I stood for five hours. Im too old for that ****. Not to mention it was waaaaaay too crowded. Shaw sucks too for the reasons you mentioned. The Winspear is good. So are the smaller venues like the Arden and Festival place. Although Festival Place has those gawdawful scented candles. Stupid Festival Place.

See and I would rather be standing. I saw Godsmack at the Jube and the sound in there was ****ing amazing and it was a wicked sounding concert. But it just seemed weird to sit through an entire Godsmack concert.

I'm not the type of person to go to a concert and drink my face off to enjoy it. I jsut love going there and watching the band put on a show and judge it for that. Not ahve to drink of smoke up in order to get into teh vibe and feel of the show in order to have fun.

I was thinking that you were referring to a song. But no when I saw them it was just after their faceless album came out. They were clean of Whiskey Hangover themselves.

He's coming again? This will be like 3 times in the last 5 years. Either way I will go again, but I hope the comic book nerds stay in their seats.
