Everyone has their own taste. You obviously hate him, I for one think the guy is hilarious. His earlier movies were probably better than his most recent ones, but I still appreciate what he does.

I havn't been able to figure out what the slipknot presale password is for the presale today. But tomorrow Deftone fans get a special presale and the rumour is that the password is: hopeisgone

I will post the presale password for today if I find out what it is. My guess is that it is a combination of numbers and letters.

Just received an e-mail from the bear and the pre-sale password is in fact 'hopeisgone'.

The Hip concert tonight (the 14th) was fricking epic. Maybe the best I've ever seen them.

People are always surprised how many Bryan Adams songs they know very well.
Quite the catalog he has to play.
Not a Bryan Adams fan myself, but have been to one of his concerts and didn't hate it. How I ended up there is actually a true story of how being a sarcastic jerk can bite you in the butt.

On hearing that some lame pop singer was coming to town, I told the wife; "I would rather listen to Bryan Adams..." What I meant was that I hated Bryan Adams, and therefore really hated the pop star coming to town.

Guess how it turned out?

The little women bought me Bryan Adams concert tickets as a gift since I had mentioned "wanting to go see him". Fraack! Let this be a lesson to young marrieds, make sure you use the sarcasm smile with your loved ones or they will think you are serious, just like people on the interwebs.

Anyhow, the Dropkick Murphys will be at the Edmonton Event Centre November 14th, but it is probably sold out. It's just as well, since my old arthritic knees couldn't handle all the jumping around a show of theirs would cause.

Funny clip of theirs from a couple of years ago..."you guys better win" SHOVE:

There's a great band coming Oct 19th to ED's. Flogging Molly with Inward Eye opening. I guess you could classify them as Irish Folk/Punk. I've seen these guys many times in the US and Calgary once for Warped Tour. They put on an insanely energetic show with a 7-8 piece band and usually a bottle of whiskey.

Kanye West and Lady GaGa play Rexall on November 28th. We'll have to see if Kanye's outburst will affect ticket sales (I vote no).

You have the date for Matt Good wrong. It is Saturday November 14th. I know this because I am pissed that I can't make it, good news is that I am missing it because I will be in Vancouver that weekend to see Puscifer.

As for STP, you will literally puke when you see ol' Scott up on stage and how ****ing disgustingly skinny the guy is. Surprised the guy is still living actually. Best part of the guys career was writing that song with Velvet Revolver about overcoming a drug addition. Note to Scott: You actually have to overcome the addiction before you can start writing songs about it.

You're right, sorry it's the 14th, and should be great.

That's rather awesome, I'm extremely jealous of that fact.

It should be a pretty awesome experience. I'm just mad about the concert date because to this day I have still not seen Matt Good in concert. Long time fan though, but it seems that everytime he has come to town I already have something up. Guess it is fitting to have the trend continue.
