I'm thinking Bettman is a little bit preoccupied right now and The Mouth is feeling uppity now that he runs the centre of the universe. The only way GB did anything last time was when Lowe finally responded.

I picked other because I think it will only continue if Burke makes an offersheet.

Too bad MPS and Lander didn't come to camp. Does anyone know if Omark will be at the main camp? Or can I assume he wont be since he didn't go to the rookie camp?

With Comrie getting signed I don't see how this will happen.

I think the Comrie deal hinges on Nilsson being moved. If Nilsson can be moved, the signing is brilliant in my books. If Nilsson doesn't get moved then it is a waste of cap space and a roster spot. I can see Atlanta being a good fit for Nilsson.

I agree with that. Question is what do we get from Atlanta? 2nd?

IMO he'd have to be spectacular in camp to get that kind of a try out, especially with so many players being waiver eligible this season.

if the oielrs are considering Comrie--I think we are more worried then the oilers

I know I am liking the idea of trading Nilsson to montreal for Kyle Chips--he is a prospect the montreal team is reportedly tiring of and they do have cap space for Nilsson and they sometime love under achieving euros there

If there is any legs to that I would do that trade in a heartbeat, I would even throw Schremp in that package for a 3rd rounder too.

Woah Burke? You mean it's hard to attract free agents and top end talent when you're not basking in warm sunny weather for 365 Days a year, and near a beach?

All I can say to that, is if you're run your team into the sewer, please don't throw a grenade at the other 29 teams.

That would be interesting is a three-way deal went down between the three teams and Ottawa would end up with Stoll adn Frolov. Be a ****** deal for them if they couldn't get Frolov under contract.

I agree totally but the kid is money. Expect nothing else than him to push for a roster spot. He is a gamer.
