HF Flyers Fantasy Hockey League

Since people seem to be interested and we haven't had one on just the board yet, I ran one of them last year, so I'll start another one. I know there will be more than adequate interest, so two questions before I make the league:

1. Max number of teams? (I was thinking 14?)

2. How many of each position? (I was thinking 3 of each forward position, 6 D, 2 G, and 2 Utility players. And have a big bench, like 4-6 guys).

Here's the information, I took into account what people had to say and made a hybrid kind of thing. (This is the important stuff, not absolutely everything)

League Name-HF Flyers League
ID #-117499
Password-flyers
Live draft, TBA temporarily set for Friday the 25th, 7:00 PM ET
# Teams-16 max, Head-to-Head
Playoffs-8 teams, weeks 22, 23, 24
Minimum goalie appearances/week-5
Positions-3C, 3LW, 3RW, 2F, 5D, 2G, 2IR, 5BN (I would've made more, but the roster limit max is 25)
Scoring-G, A, +/-, PP points, SH points, GWG, FO won, W, GAA, SV, SV%, SO

I'm in.

I've only done 2 at each position. Doesn't matter to me.

14-16 teams are good.

I dont normally use Utility players. What do they provide? Do their stats count if they are on utility or is it just like a decorated bench spot?

It's just a spot you can put any skater on. Their stats count.

I'm in.

2 C, 2 RW, 2 LW, 2 D, 2 UTL? Sounds good to me if that's what you mean.

I say go for as far as interest takes it. Later rounds and activity will be key the deeper the league is. I'm up for anything though.

the best set up is probably:

3 C, 2 LW, 2 RW, 2 W, 4 D, 1 UTL, 2 G, 5-6 Bench players, 2 IR spots

the only problem i have is the day of the draft...can we make it Sunday Evening? It's probably better for most people, because on Friday/Saturday nights I'm sure most people are out having a good time

If we made it after 10 pm I can do it. I work every Sunday night.

I was going to, but I've got hockey practice every Sunday night, and I want to watch football.

I just looked at my schedule again, and my practices early on are on Monday, so Sunday would be okay for me.
