I guess Sundstrom isnt ready yet. Too bad.

I was really looking forward to seeing Sundstrom and Kovalev reunited.

Perrault will be a pretty good addition to that third line IMO... We have so many pieces that can contribute at that spot... Yanic will be in tight to keep his spot on the roster. That being said, his faceoff ability will be the most important thing to that line, hopefully Kovalev will set him up for some sniping shots

I really dont care who plays anymore, as long as our three scoring lines can connect and score goals to win games. Even Dagenais, im probably the biggest basher of his, but if he contributes, well than ok he can stay in the line-up.

Phew, I need an advil, that was difficult to say!

Well, if Kovalev isn't going to play on one of the top two lines, I guess this isn't bad. At least Perreault should give Kovalev a little more offensive support than Joe Juneau would.

When you think about it that is one hell of a good fourth line. I assume they will get some decent minutes, especially if they start to click early.

I guess it could paid off.

Kovalev is the kind of player who can pass the puck on the tape in the slot. And Perreault is no Dackell, he's the definition of a guy who not miss a chance when he got the puck on the tape in the slot. Could hurt in a defensive way but well... we gonna see what happen...

At this point, it's still all projections... It's playoffs time and many decisions could be made at the last time or are already made and unknow...

True enough. I wouldn't doubt if Kovalev is playing really well out of the gate, and lets say Dagenais is struggling, Kovalev could find himself on the second line by the end of the first period.

A Kovalev Dowd Perrault line will be interesting. They could turn out to be the sleepers in this series. If Perrault gets on a hot streak and Kovalev starts to turn it on, watch out.

Does anyone else worry that Kovalev and Perreault (not exactly defensive stalwarts) could be bottled up in the defensive zone, by an aggressive Bruins forecheck?. I'm not certain Dowd alone, can cover for the other two expected gaffs.

My worry is more that Perreault is incredibly weak on the puck more than anything.

Kovalev's play has improved defensively down the stretch I felt. He looked lost for his first week.

Journal de Montréal page 141 Marc De Foy is reporting it.
