Does Darryl Sutter EVER smile?

They showed a shot of him after Iggy scored the empty net goal, and he had a huge frown on his face. WTF?

Watch his post-game interviews.

He always cracks a terrible joke and starts laughing by himself, it's gold :lol

I actually heard him tonight. He did do that exact same thing, heh. He just never smilies, even Mike Keenan cracks a grin now and then.

Come to think about it though, he would look pretty funny with a smile.

Just picture Darryl Sutter with a big Ville Niemenen grin. :lol

What I understand Marcus Nilson currently is carrying the third line along with Donovan and Gelinas at the moment. How has he been looking so far in the postseason? Remember, this is his first playoffs, but his playing style should fit for tighter games. I also saw Stephane Yelle was back in the lineup last game, centering the fourth line, any chance he will take the center job in the third, demoting Nilson to the fourth?

Game five will undoubtably start with the same lines as game four, but I can see Yelle moving up a line or two if he feels he is healthy enough to take a bigger role in the game.

That he took a couple of big hits with no evident pain was a very good sign.

Nilson has been alright, but hasnt done a whole lot offensively. He hasnt really made any mistakes defensively, however.

Well the only reason other fans in ther league are chearing for you guys is because you have been brutal the last 7 or eight years and everyone likes to cheer for the underdog. Don't let it go to your head.

Maybe, but he's right. Two years ago people were "joining" Canuck fans, and cheering them on to defeat the Wings.

Now, two years later, people want them out in the first round.

Calgary is just the flavour of the mon...uh, year.

Its sure true, but it makes it all the sweeter when you've been here the whole time

Don't worry though, you Nuck fans will feel the love again when your driving to the cup against Detroit in the near future.

the best team will win tomorrow night

Bottom line the Canucks built a team and gambled on the Sedins. The gamble didn't pay off. Burke is on his way out, your best player is going to jail and you don't have a legit #1 goaltender. On top of this you're all out of draft picks to rebuild and too cheap to spend money on free agents.

Wow that was one of the best games I ever saw. Valiant effort by the Flames and the Canucks! May the best team win. Too bad they didn't beat an American team as I would have liked these 2 teams to play for the cup.

Wow, that's about all I can say about game 6.

Heartbreaking to lose in the third OT, especially after coming back from 4 goals down mid way through regulation.

Ville with the post in the second OT was a killer.

Game 7 is going to be tough.

I stayed up until 2:30 cheering for a comeback, and that OT was a killer. You guys are the only team in the playoffs that I like, and you've got a hell of a fun team. Rhett Warrener was always a favorite of mine here in Buffalo, and Denis Gauthier is just something else.

Let's hope for a good game 7, and let's go Calgary!

Costly game

With the injuries to Lydman, Simon, McAmmond and Reinprecht, it is concerning when Gauthier goes down, Yelle reagrrivates his injury a few times, I'm pretty sure Saprykin is playing injured, and I heard Gelinas might be playing injured as well.

Hope to god Simon can come back. Montador might be in next game... so Ference, Commodore and Montador for the bottum 6... sketch...

can someone explain what the hell this guy is talking about? you're kidding right?

rebuilding? what?!

anyway, to the rest of your normal calgary fans, i think the world of your team. your coach seems to get everything out of your players.

Please ignore him, the Sedin's will be just fine, Sedin Sqaured and Linden was the best line tonight, hands down.

I agree. However, I think it should be said that the Sedin's are just fine. Young players that show flashes of brilliance, as they showed tonight.

What I want to know is:
First, Why was Sutter screwing around with the lines at the begining of the game? Stick with what was working!
Second, why don't teams dress 7 Dmen anymore? I mean, it wasn't that long ago that 8 Dmen used to play a game. We definitly could have used Montador later in the game.
Anyways, I realy wanted the Flames to win tonight, now if they win on Monday, they will have to play Detroit right away - injured with no rest. Now that sucks.

Thats an interesting thought, if Gauthier comes back on Monday maybe play Montador over Oliwa and if Gauthier can't do it, then you have 6 D still?
